This past month the car braked automatically and for no reason. I was not close to a car. I see others have had this problem. I have a 2026 Tucson hybrid limited. Anyone else. Also My car updated the software and now apple play will not connect no matter what I do. Message is. Cannot connect Apple Car Play. I have wireless in the car and have tried both ways. Nothing works. Any help here
Maybe this question was made before, can anyone confirm real world MPG on a Hybrid, NOT THE PLUGIN? Most people I’ve asked don’t know.
I have been thinking about buying a new car for a while. I am currently driving a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport that I bought way back when they were giving away 0% financing for 72 months. It currently has 154k kms and still runs well with no major issues. I did not need a new car, but wanted one with more bells and whistles.
After looking at most of the cars in the segment, I decided on the 2026 Hyundai Tucson. Here in Toronto they call the trim I got Preferred and I also got the "Trend" package that got me a s panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, leatherette seats, and some other goodies. Instead of trading in my Santa Fe I am selling it to my brother for his oldest (20) at what I would have got for the trade in as their first car. It made it easier to pull the trigger knowing that someone in the family would be taking advantage of the life left in my Santa Fe.
In terms of buying process, I think I did ok. 2200 off the MSRP, no dealer admin fee (savings of 700). Plus they threw in winter mats and one time rustproofing. The finance guy tried to get me to buy gap insurance and an extended warranty, which I declined. In all, the OTD price I paid was 6250 less than another dealership quoted for the same car. That other dealership had a anti-theft package (etching) and "customer care" package that they refused to remove.
I pick the car up Friday. Hopefully everything will go smoothly.
I found out about this over the CarFax Car Care app. This recall is affecting 2025-26 Tucsons and Santa Cruzes relating to the sensitivity of the forward collision avoidance system. I spoke with a service manager at my local Hyundai dealership, and he said the fix is a software update, either OTA or bring it to the dealer and have them update it. How many of you have seen this, and what have you done so far?

Has anyone actually been able to successfully download and apply the new cluster themes from the Blue Link Store to their Hyundai?
I have a 2025 Tuscon HEV (in USA). I was able to download the recent OTA update for my Tucson and download a new cluster theme (nature) on my phone’s Blue Link app. But the new theme isn’t showing up in my Tucson’s cluster settings. Any ideas?
So they switched the cruise control, lane asst…and the audio controls on the newer vehicles! My 2022 hybrid were opposite! Lol

Anyone else’s wireless charger stop working with the latest software update this week?
When my wife goes out to the vehicle and has the key fob on her purse when she gets near the back of the vehicle the hatch opens. When I walk to the vehicle with the fob on my hand or pocket it does not happen. Weird.
I recently got the new update for the themes. However, when I go to get the theme in the blue link store, it says the vehicle isint compatible, even thought I have a compatible vehicle.
Seems like the update to allow cluster themes are on the way.

Just got a 2026 and I’m not sure if it’s the alignment straight out the factory but trying to keep this truck in a straight line is a daunting task. Even when I turn lane assist on it struggles to even know what to do. Add a windy day and I feel like I’m Tokyo drifting. What gives?
2025 Hyundai Tucson hybrid sel convenience. I hear wind noise or rattling sound (something flapping in the wind) from outside driver side. I checked the molds around tire and the door. Nothing obvious.

Just got this brand new car last week (my awful bad luck after getting rear ended and getting my 2025 tucson completely totaled which led me to buy the 2026 tuscon hybrid limited) and hit a pothole and caused me to have a flat tire. It turns out that the rim got bent and my car was towed to the dealership but they dont know when they will be able to get it done. What should i do? Luckily the person who towed this car didnt tow it with the car on the ground because i havent hit 600 miles and Im not trying to fuck with the transmission. Should I go through my car insurance? I have financed this car from Hyundai and the dealership said something about tire warranty which made no sense to me

The gauge cluster looks different, there’s a shade of grey in the middle and it pops up a notification that says “READY to Drive” when you start the vehicle which wasn’t there before.
And more importantly there is a digital speed option when you scroll to the bottom of the first page of information!!! That’s exciting
I have a UK 24 plate, Tucson Hybrid N line S and a pixel 9a.
I've been trying to use the wireless charging and it seems inconsistent. The charging seems to dropout regularly even without a case on. I don't know if it's because the phone is on the smaller side maybe so it moves off the pad.
Has anyone experienced similar or got any ideas of what could be causing it?
