People have asked for me to do some comics with Mrs Wilde so here is her first meeting with Judy.

I like the thought of them being able to start a bond without Nick around to interfere. I feel like he would try to discourage it or control the narrative a bit if he was there from the beginning. She decides to keep her full identity a secret so that Judy won't be tempted to put up any act or hide anything. Valerie just wants to understand what's going on and what's so special about this bunny. She'll tell Judy who she is the next time they meet. But should she ask Judy to keep their meeting a secret from Nick so he can focus on the academy and later his new job(so she'll ask Judy to say something after Z2) or will she let Judy say something while he's still at the academy, so during Z2 he knows he has to encounter her sooner or later? I personally think she'll want to remain a secret for a while(which will work better with Z2) but I also feel a little bad for making Judy keep secrets from Nick(but I'm sure he hasn't disclosed everything to her). Not sure how to handle it exactly.

I feel like Valerie is VERY perceptive. She made it hard for Nick to get away with his hustles during his teenage years, even as he was distancing himself from her. He and Finnick couldn't get anything by her. Once he graduated he was already in contact with Mr Big(or maybe just Kevin and Raymond) and decided then that if he's going to jump into the underworld he needs to cut her off. Even after getting kicked out of Mr Big's family he couldn't face her again.

By this point they haven't talked in almost 15 years.

This was 6 pages but I added the last one to make it clear to Nick and the audience that Judy wasn't doing this for just ANYONE. He's a special case ;)

Nick runs out of the room not long after. Poor fox. I'm going to make him die of embarrassment at this rate.

I was also going to have a small gag where you could read the doctors writing as they flipped the paper but then I realized that wouldn't make sense because you were seeing the back of the page not the front. But they had written things like "the bunny is trying to attract the fox", "the bunny has presented herself to the fox to mate. She wants-", and "the bunny is upset. The fox appears aroused." LOL things like that

Reddit gave me a pop up saying I might be breaking rules if I don't put suggestive in the tag so let me know I it's actually necessary?

Made by the same company who did the last ones. I'm honestly a little disappointed that they didn't make the "Last" prize a figure of Judy in her Gala dress like how the previous one was Nick in his suit. But these are super cute!

And I'm just being a little nit-picky, but I think they overdid the fur texturing on the sculpt. It's making them look...chunky? I'm not sure how to describe it. They could of smoothed out the fur more. Still great figures. I want them, but with terrifs and shipping being what it is, I don't know if I can.

A very short comic this week but it's something I've had in mind practically since Zootopia 2 came out.

One of the things they wanted to do in Z2 was flip things on Nick and Judy. Nick knew everything about Zootopia, well now there's a place where he's out of his element(which I call BS. There's no reason that Nick shouldn't familiar with Marsh Market or any district in Zootopia to some degree). Judy had an uncomfortable experience in Z1 with the naturalists club and Nick had one in the reptile speak easy. In Z1, Judy gave the end speech. In Z2, it was Nick.

So, in Z3, I wondered if they're going to continue that trend and what would they flip? Well, in Z1, Judy saved Fru Fru and I think it would be fun if Nick saved Judith. Not only as a call back to what Judy did and how her positive influence has impacted Nick to help others but also Nick can finally be in the Big's good graces again(I'm really confused why they wrote Nick to think he would be the best choice to talk to Mr Big in Z2 when he knows Judy is the reason they weren't MURDERED). And it would keep the "love your dress" line going.

This also keeps the head-canon of Nick being really good with children going! I LOVE it!

I feel like Fru Fru and Mr Big have taught Judith to call Nick that but after this she will call him Mr Nicky or something.

I don't see this crow trying to eat her, just catch her for ransom.

I like the idea that birds will be the antagonists of Z3. Z1 it was prey and Z2 it was predators(again flipping things). In Z2 the newly introduces species class, reptiles, were good guys/harmless. So in Z3 the new species, birds, can be the bad guys/dangerous(with maybe one being the good guy sidekick of the movie). But with how much Zootopia tackles subjects of discrimination that might not be the best decision. Someone will make it about some real world event going on :/

I got the next TWO Sundays off so there shouldn't be anything keeping me from comics for the next two weeks! WildeHopps will be back next time.

I'm back with the WildeHopps!

I've gotten some of my mojo back. I feel a bit rusty so I hope the art holds up and you enjoy the stories I have planned. I don't know if I'll be able to do this weekly because I still have my ML comic that needs my time and I'm still working extra hours but I'll do my best.

I don't know if anyone's ever notice I draw Nick with a bit of a broader frame. I feel like they down play the fact he went through the same physical training as Judy, passed and got into Precinct One, too. So I like to draw him with a little muscle.

I feel like by this point Judy has never dated and has had strict tunnel vision on her dreams of being a police officer. Her sisters can tell she's gotten a crush on Nick but Judy doesn't think so but she also doesn't quite understand what it means to HAVE a crush. To be attracted to someone. It's all never fazed her. It's not till the weather wall and later, Nick giving her the repaired carrot pen, that Judy really starts digest what Nick means to her and what she is feeling. At least that's what I'm going for in this canon I'm building.

Nick getting dog piled by Judy's siblings is one of my favorite Zootopia tropes but what if the siblings were babies!? Them with their twitchy noses and little nibbles. Nick doesn't stand a chance 💕

Also, I have about 10 comics in the draft stages. Hopefully, with the new hire I'll get my Sunday's back and can go back to drawing WildeHopps.

I did just made a post about these a week ago. I wasn't expecting to be given a link to buy them(thank you u/Snowy_Fox ). This was a completely impulsive buy. I have no idea where I'm going to display them.

2 Front of the box. They made the right choice putting the absolute cutest one on front!

3 A look at all of them plus the 1/36 secret one

4, 5 a look at the front and back. The buttons on the back can actually be pressed!

6, 7 Nick and Judy's faces that can click onto the front. They made a mistake of giving Judy toe beans

8 "You're busted" all the figures come with a little stand. Some of them can be hard to get on(I was worried I was going to break off the tie or something trying to secure them on because that's where the two are connected).

9, 10 The stands have little ridges on the sides that lets you slide them securely into the camera. And by pulling out the tag they can light up by clicking the shutter button on top! So awesome! Though I will probably have to have most of mine outside of their cameras just to save on space. Also, all the cameras come with little straps, so you can wear them like a purse. I wouldn't suggest doing this though because the faces that click on the front can fall off with a strong enough bump.

11 "Forced grind" not much to say about this one. It's cute. Based on some promo art from Z1

12 "Gun show-off" kind of a weird choice being we've only ever seen Judy use a tranq-gun in the first theater promo. Though Nick does like to rock finger guns lol

13 "Surprise pop" now we're getting into the cute shit! The smooshing of the cheeks, the hug, the undercover clothes! Love it!

14 "Cheek poke" my favorite! It's so precious! 10/10! I will say though, I don't know if this is something everyone will have a problem with or it's just mine, but Nick doesn't fit. His ear is scraping on the top of the display so I worry that's going to screw the plastic up if I keep them in there. So I will definitely take these two out(even though I love them in the camera). I also had a lot of struggle getting them on the stand. I think one of the holes on Judy's right foot was ever, so slightly, not big enough. I ended up having to take my exacto-knife and cut that peg off the base(taking it from 4 pegs to 3). Not a big deal. You can't really tell.

15 "Secret sneaky attack" I got the rare one! I have the worst luck buying blind boxes. I was not expecting to get the rare! These two will definitely be displayed in their camera. Look at them bumping butts! So cute!

16 kind of hard to tell with the picture but the secret camera and card have this pearly, iridescent look to it.

17 My whole set

18, 19 I really like the fold out cards they made for these. They're great.

20 "Victory V" This is the one that I didn't get because I got the secret one. When I started to open these I told myself if I do get the secret one I would want it to replace this one. Judy's cringey smile is kind of cute but she is covering half of Nick's face. Also by replacing this one I get 3 Judy cameras and 3 Nick cameras. I also get 3 undercover figures and 3 casual figures. I am a little sad at the loss of the pink camera, I really liked it. The secret one was actually the 5th one I opened and while I was excited that I actually got it I was also a little worried about what would be in box 6. It was between "Victory V" and "Cheek poke" and I would of been so devastated if I didn't get that poke! Lol but I couldn't ask for a better turn out with these. I hate blind boxes. I would rather buy an open box from Ebay or Mercari and get exactly what I want, even if it means paying a little extra. But this was great! I probably did use all of my blind box luck on this though, so any future blind boxes will probably be my least favorite outcomes lol

My last order from Japan(at least with using a proxy service). Between tariffs and now the stricter rules on having proper toy codes(or risk your package getting thrown out!) I can't deal with it anymore. I've been collecting Zootopia merch from Japan using proxy services for almost 3 years and after the misery that was getting this package I can't do it anymore! This package was in customs for TWENTY days! It almost got sent back to Japan! If that happebed that means I would of paid my shipping to get it out of Japan($200), pay the return fee($80~180), abd then pay AGAIN to have it shipped to me again(another $200), and still risk it getting stuck in customs again. I'm so greatful for all the advice I go for filling out the paperwork, and the FedEx broker who helped me avoid that. Oh and want to know how close my package was to me when it got stuck? I got the package the DAY AFTER it was released from customs..... I'm not done collecting Zootopia merch but not the same way as I used to.

Sorry to just unload like that!

But on the bright side, look at what I got!

Adorable plushies of them in their Gala clothes(these match the previous plush I got of them in their casual clothes).

The entire pack of Zootopia Best Duo figures(didn't get the rare figure though). Honestly I like the idea of these figures but some of them are kinda...ugly to me lol still I got them for a great price.

Zootopia 2 Japanes pre-order bluray. It comes with a coaster, and a sleeve that can hold both Z1 and Z2(I already have Z1 in Japanese, so this is perfect)

And the Nick and Judy figures. What annoys me is they posed the figures in such a way that you can't see their badges on their hips without turning them away on your shelf. But, they're still cute.

Saw this on YouTube(of all places) and IMMEDIATELY thought of Nick lol

Doing my daily Mercari Japan Zootopia search(why I don't know importing toys isn't worth it anymore) and saw this! Didn't see a Judy though. Nick in tux is great but make dress Judy too! I'm still waiting for a big dress Judy figure to go with my Nick. All Nick merch needs a matching Judy merch(and vice-versa)!

My friend went to Chinatown in Chicago, Illinois and got me some Zootopia merch! So sweet!

Damn terriffs! Damn CPSC regulations! I want these so much but unless they come to the states it's going to be so hard to buy them from China. These are SO CUTE!

I'm working on getting back into making comics. People really want to see Mrs Wilde(I named my rendition of her Valorie). After asking what people want from her while also being given motivation to interpret her my own way, I hope you all will like what I come up with.

Don't know when my first comic will come out(I have four in the rough draft stages).

I'm looking to start making some comics again and one of my most frequent suggestions is doing something with Nick's mom. Honestly, there is so many directories she could be taken and I don't know what I should choose because I feel like no mater what I will choose something that will be proven wrong in Z3 or something. So I decided I will make YOU guys wrong lol(or who knows, maybe you'll hit the nail on the head and get her and Nick's situation exactly right).

I know years ago it was said she was at her same apartment, waiting for grandkids. But I think that was said by someone who is no longer at Disney, so should I really see that as "reliable"?(let me know if I should keep that)

In Z2, it seems she's completely out of the picture(Nick said he was alone all this time and it doesn't appear like she was at the ceremony) . Maybe she's dead or, as some people speculate, she's actually a bad mother and doesn't care to have a good relationship with Nick. Of corse, she could also have been there and just wasn't shown(Disney seems to be picky when it comes to throwing resources into making new character models).

And what of Judy? Would she like Judy for getting her son out of that life style or is she a little resentful that her son is constantly thrown into danger for this bunny? Would she support their relationship?

And personality. Is she pretty docile? Firey? A ditz? Spiteful? Promiscuous!? What?

So give me your ideas and also look at the comments and leave a like for the suggestions you like the most.

Oh, and what should her name be? The most common names I've seen are Vivian and Marian. I personally like Vivian but these comics are for you guys so let me know what you want(it doesn't have to be one of those, you can leave a comment with a new name) .

COMIC 20!!!!

This started out with me really wanting to draw Judy in some frilly wedding dresses after being inspired by a comment on Tumblr . Then I wrote a comic around those drawings.

Which dress is your favorite?

And no this doesn't mean I have a wedding comic planned. I think if I did one of those it would need to a large comic(like BAR HOPPS long) and I would wanna try doing it in color like Hoppy Holiday

I think the sisters have finally redeemed themselves after their blunders in Anniversary and Welcome lol. Had fun thinking of a few new sister designs. One day I need to make myself a character sheet with all these designs so I don't have to open so many reference windows.

Also I did not design the sister, Lisa's dresses! They are references. You recognize them?

For anyone who didn't know Ruby is a jewelry designer and maker(she sells them on "ELKSY" lol).

Now I will still be taking a small break. I want to finish the storyboards for the Ballet AU and a few other things(plus lots of things will be changing at my job soon so that will be an adjustment). But I hope to not be gone to long. I was given a lot of ideas on both Tumblr and Reddit so I want to look them over and really think about them and see what gets sparked in me. I really just wanted to draw Nick doting on Judy. Also Nick didn't ignore Judy's calls, his phone died. I didn't know how to squeeze that in without going through the effort of drawing an extra page(maybe I'll add Finnick mentioning it or something)

Now for the bad news. I'm dry! I think I'm going to have to tap out. I really wanted to do 26 weekly Wildhopps comics(starting with "the Talk" so not counting anything before that). 26 means I did 6 months of weekly comics. But here I am with comic 19 and I've run out of creativity. I have 1 more comic I will for sure do, 1 comic that I did a rough draft for, that I'm thinking of shelving till I can think of a better way of structuring it, and 1 comic that I want to draw but I feel like the contents are treading on familiar territory. I also have a RubyxGideon comic I am working on a little on the side but I wasn't going to count that as part of the 26(let me know if you guys want me to upload it here to reddit otherwise it will just be on my Tumblr). Next week I will have number 20 out but I will most likely start a hiatus for WldeHopps comics until further notice. I need to recharge my batteries. Get new inspiration. And work on some things I've been giving less time for these comics(The Ballet AU, my ML comic, will be entering it's next faze soon and will require more attention from me).

If you have been following me for my WildeHopps comics, thank you! There have been some hard things for me these past few months but you guys have been making me so happy! You're comments have put so many smiles on my face. You guys have made me laugh and have just been so sweet! I hope I can return to these soon and I'm sorry for dropping this on you so suddenly. I am so grateful for the support you guys have given me.

I will be going through some of my older comics and fixing some small things(like making the eyes of the older comics match the eyes I do now and just fix things that I find ugly and is bothering me).

Also if anyone wants to shoot me an idea to reach comic 26 feel free to leave a comment. But I don't promise to do it(I have no idea what will spark inspiration in me). People have left me comments and without realizing it sparked inspiration in me. If I get inspired I will go past comic 20 that I have planned already. But if I do hit 26 then I will for real take a hiatus after that.

A prequel to Hoppy Holiday!

The sisters once again drop the ball. Even though it is a prequel to Hoppy Holiday it feels more like a companion to Anniversary. Also the sisters aren't trying to flirt or "take" Nick from Judy. Judy had mention to them that he was nervous and they were hoping to help him feel welcomed and to not worry about their past family prejudice about foxes. I promise in a few comics the sisters will do something right when they invite Nick and Judy to go somewhere with them!

I feel like with how shy and embarrassed Nick and Judy are at the end this conflicts with "the Talk". Which I don't mind to much/ That was my first in this series of comics and at the time I just wanted to draw something funny. I didn't realize I would start making a bunch more and weekly at that. So I was already considering not having "the Talk" be part of this canon(or would it be fanon?). Maybe I can have it take place later on the timeline but at the end of the day none of these have to be considered connected(accept if they are a multi-parter).

Sequel to "Be With you"

They did their shopping, put things away, started a movie and passed out on the couch. They get a couple hours of sleep in before Bonnie and Stu call.

While I try to keep things in character(I stretch things sometimes) I actually don't think Bonnie and Stu would be this accepting/none reactive at this point in time. During the movie I feel like they don't think much of Nick. "Fox partner." "Big city crook" They should know his name by this point. Judy was sulking over him at their house for like 3(?) months. And then I have no doubt she's talked about him constantly for the 6-9 months he was at the academy. He saved her life, too!

But for the sake of the comic I'm making them more open.
