I will never fly on Frontier again
After getting delayed for over 6 hours, my direct flight from Nashville to Denver was canceled yesterday evening. Of course we then had to wait in an extremely long line at the ticketing desk only to be told that our options were a refund of the tickets or to fly all around the country and return home late at night the next day, assuming that flight wouldn’t also get canceled.
I understand that’s pretty much standard procedure for a canceled flight but here’s the reason I’ll never fly this shitty airline again; they told us regardless of what we chose to do, they would comp a hotel room for us for the night. With that in mind, we chose to get the refund and book a flight for early the next morning with a different airline, obviously the refund from Frontier didn’t even cover half the price of these tickets.
After waiting for about two hours, we never received an email about the details of the hotel room, so we called the customer service line and waited on hold for another hour. Once we were on the phone with someone, they explained to us that because we took the refund for the flight, there was nothing they could do to comp a hotel room, which was the whole reason we made the choice not to take the other Frontier flight!
When we arrived at the airport this morning, there was no one at the Frontier ticket desk for us to talk to about this fiasco so we’re just SOL at this point.
Fuck this airline. Fuck the people that work at this airline. I will never fly on a frontier plane again in my life.
