Is 1W worth it?

I am about to make a 8 km hike with 1.4 km elevation gain. Hoping to reach out to nodes 64 km away with line of sight. Should I put a 1W node in the enclosure? I already have a few regular RAK 4631 I could throw in but I want to make the most out of the hike.

I was going to go with a 1W RAK but if anyone else knows a better 1W node let me know.
