I’d like to reach out a bit further than the ATACR allows. I have Vortex Viper PST Gen II I’d like to throw on/try. Will the 17 eat it up? Would an ADM mount help? Other mount brands?

I just can’t kick the itch to cut a 17 down to 10.5 or 11. It would always be suppressed most likely with a Sandman L and possibly infrequently with a Sandman S. For those that have done it? Love it? Hate it? Would you do anything different?
