I tried installing Manjaro twice on the same model of laptop, both times the same problem appears, which is that after exiting the setup, I would not be able to boot to the OS or to the bios, and I would just get a black Screen, the only fix was resetting the CMOS battery.

My question is, is this issue specific to manjaro and arch based distros or should I edit something with my BIOS? ​
