Looking to head out to Westport for salmon and I was hoping to get some tips for fishing the beach kings. I usually run out to 300FOW but would like to have options if things are a bit rough. So I am wondering how far out is considered fishing the beach kings are we talking just outside the bar or more like 100-150FOW. and do you have to get your gear on the bottom or do you fish it like the deeper water where your gears mid water column. Thanks for any help photo from last season as a fish tax.
