If I do a placement year in a back office role such as Operations in GS, once I graduate could I apply to front office roles within Goldman Sachs or would it be harder to do so?
Has anyone else lost touch with most of their hometown friends after moving away to uni?
I feel like I’m always the one trying to maintain old friendships, and it’s getting exhausting. They do not reach out to hang or reply to texts. Some of my other friends have hometown friends who they still talk to. Whenever I come back home, I just feel so alone. Does anyone feel the same way or have any advice on how to handle this.
