How do I get ahold of a local REAL journalist to look into a large number of credit card/debit card theft? There are way too many people on this one road in Cross Lanes getting their information stolen. A psa, something to kick the police into looking, striking fear into whoever or whatever business is doing it? Too many people here rely on their entire paychecks to make it through, and some banks are not rewarding their stolen money back at all. One person is on their 3rd new card. All different banks. I know one person in Lincoln county that got hit. Waiting 2/3 weeks for a new card for someone in a hard spot can mean going hungry or without medication, losing their job, car, or home from lack of gas, inability to pay current bills, and whatever situation they have on their homes. I know this is an impossible task, but there are way too many people being affected with no clear explanation or track record to point where it is coming from. We all have in common Walmart and Kroger. I personally only use tap to pay/Apple Pay unless I have no other choice. Someone is going to get hurt financially and spiral from there.

I am posting this here because I’ve seen a ton of Facebook posts from people who live in or around Cross Lanes getting their card information stolen. Well, it happened to me. I’m cyber security so I typically over examine gas pumps just to be sure there isn’t a skimmer attached. I’ve not seen anything so this is more of a sophisticated idiot.

I do Apple Pay most of the time, but occasionally will use my card for tap to pay. I haven’t physically used my card the old way in several months because my stupid ass put my wallet somewhere hot and warped my card to hell, lol.

Apple Pay is the safest method anyway, but it’s hard to tell which one of these locations Apple Pay was messed up or didn’t connect.

This is the past like two weeks. Just keep an eye out and try to pre pay inside if you can. I’m trying to figure out where for sure.

I was stuck in the traffic from the bad truck accident and unfortunately got a glimpse of the deceased. I’m scared of being burned alive so that wasn’t too great on me.

Today, I was on 64 split going to beckley just before the concrete barrier. Man was in the left lane heading to clarksburg. I guess he wanted to merge but didn’t have a blinker on the entire time, had he did use it I would have absolutely hit the brakes and allowed him over. He saw I was behind him, and beside him. Semi in front of me, car’s length. I’m going like 57/62. He looked me in the eye and swerved. I had to dodge. There was another truck beside me. People often fall over the bridge and die there. I even said to myself, “man I need to be way more mindful of keeping far distances just in case” today before I left my house.

This man sped up. I got his license plate and called the non emergency line anyway. But I am rattled already and threw up a few times from the fear.

What the hell is happening here? I feel like this past year, we have had a huge increase of crazy drivers. I’m not talking just about reckless speeding but I’m talking like the MOST dangerous and careless moves on the road to harm themselves and the people around them. I have been almost hit several times in the last month, semis merging with no blinker, people swerving between lanes, yesterday near Dunbar cold spot I saw a car drive in the grass to get around a car in front of them at the red light. That has been the LAST week.
