Women in the bathroom stall
Hii y’all so first time posting and just wanted to share something super strange and eerie happened to me about 2-3 years ago and just wanted to know what y’all think and your opinion on it..
keep in mind what’s really weird about this story is i literally heard of this happening but it was a creepy pasta and not real which makes it weirder and creepier it happened to me but maybe it’s my brain convincing itself?
So it was late at night I live in south florida fort lauderdale plantation area for reference i would say about past 9:00 pm some time before ross closes and I was out with my mom running errands but last min she had stuff to return stuff from ross.
typical mom stuff, so we go and I remember i didn’t wanna go in and just stay in the car but my mom insisted i go in since she didn’t want me to be alone at night in the car.
I realize she’s right so i go in with her there’s probably one employee at the front and there is some people in line maybe 4 people but each person had a lot of stuff in their shopping carts.
I kind of don’t feel like standing and waiting i also had my 🍃 pen and decide i wanna just go in the bathroom and hit it, as you know idk about all ross bathrooms but mine is where the dressing rooms are and you have to wait for someone to unlock it and mine gives u a code.
I’m standing there and there’s an employee organizing the racks seems like they are about to clock out or leave then i ask to unlock the bathroom they click the button i hear the buzzer go off i go in.
I walk down the hall and go to the women’s bathroom I go in put the code, I remember there was no one in there, in my head I was like “yess all to myself”.
I didn’t go to the big stall bc i wanted to sit down and just chill so I go to the one next to it im on my phone just scrolling, I do have to use the bathroom so i do and i hit my 🍃 once (keep in mind at this time i would 🍃 everyday so 1 or 2 hits was like nothing to me made me just relaxed at that point.) I continue scrolling texting people whatever, mins go by i knew i probably had only sm time bc my mom would of called me that she’s at the register any min now.
Now for me personally maybe other smokers out there as well know time goes by really quick u just don’t notice it, I notice 25 mins have gone by i text my mom if she’s at the register she says no and i just sigh that it will be awhile, maybe 5 or more mins go by at this point and im about to just go back bc i don’t really want to stay in a bathroom so I get that thought.
I see something in the corner of my eye down to the stall next to me..and i kid you not I see a pair of pointy black boots FACING MY STALL.
My heart dropped and i got goosebumps idk felt human instinct flood my body , the pointy part is under my stall.
It isn’t really common like at all to see Floridians wear boots like at all it is very hot in Florida to do all of that.
This sobered me up and freaked me out so out of instinct and i love horror even as a kid i look up expecting to see a ghost or something.
Nothings there thank god but I look back down and the boots are still there just facing me
what’s creepy is how still they are to the floor and I start thinking rationally maybe it’s a employee but i only saw like 2 in this whole store.
I stay still for some mins trying to listen for literally any sign of life a sniff audio from a phone something, it’s dead silent i can only here the fluorescent lights in the bathroom.
This whole time im rationalizing the boots are still facing my way the same position very still, I gather up some courage and say “hello?” “…” zero response i look at the time and i see 40 mins or more has passed.
that’s when i start freaking out because i then realize.. how long has that person been in here?
The boots in it self just seems so odd to me just stuck out and i remember being frozen just staring at them.
I came in i didn’t feel a presence
a toilet flush nothing when i first came in.
So how long has this person been in the bathroom for if they were here before me this whole time?
I decide im gonna run out of here and i indeed did that as im about to i take one final look the boots are still in the same spot ugh so weird.
so i just open my door and speed walkout of there didn’t even wash my hands.
the employee that was there was gone i knew that that person in the bathroom definitely wasn’t them it was the shoes that just stuck out like a sore thumb.
I go to my mom she was about to go to the register and i went to her looked freaked out, im searching to see if maybe if someone will come with those shoes and nothing the store is just empty.
and i explain to her in the car she kind of brushed it off.
but i still remember that to this day every detail and i wanna know what yall think bc it was the strangest thing that happened to me since.
