Backpay for permanent disability after TTD payments ended 2 years ago

I was speaking to my lawyer recently and he mentioned that when I recieve my PDR % they will have to back pay me from the date I was declared Permanent stationary. How would that work? Would it be a lump sum or bi-weekly payments?
