German names - good, bad, hard to remember?

I really like the German names - but I speak German😂

I get minor spoilors sometimes (Gee, I wonder if someone named Liar is really a harmless peace envoy?😂). But It makes the characters a lot easier to remember and very distinct in my mind😁

So I am interested in the opinions of non-German speakers. Are they easier or harder to remember for you than Japanese names? Easier or herder to pronounce?

(P.s: Btw does anyone know why Wirbel is named Whirl/Vortex or Land named Land and Übel names Bad/Evil even though we get much more evil characters and she isn't even a real villain?)

Methode - Wasted potential😭

I just finished s2e8 and I was so sad Frieren turned down Methode😭 I love her obsession with elves, it's adorable!

More importantly I can't think of a single good reason why it wouldn't make sense for her to join them. She is an incredibly powerful priest AND mage, she'd be a great asset I know d*mn well Sein wouldn't mind having her on the team😂

So legitimately, why did she turn her down??🥲
