Advice on being a paralegal?

Does anyone have any advice or thoughts on being a paralegal? My community college had a meeting about the program they offer and had attorneys come in and speak about it and it kinda interested me. I have always enjoyed reading about crimes or watching documentaries about things that have happened. I wouldn’t want to go to law school so I would just be a paralegal but my community college has a program where it’s 3 years there and 1 year at a university to get your associates and bachelors in paralegal. They also have the same program to do this but instead get a bachelors and associates in business. Does anyone suggest either of these careers? Please help

I was originally wanting to do marketing but it’ll take me a 1 years longer because it is in the college of business so it’s more classes. My advisor recommended majoring in communications and minoring in marketing to be done sooner and essentially being saving money. Does anyone think this would be the same outcome or dumb to do this instead? Please give me your input I’m trying to be done with college as soon as possible.
