Chunky Highlight: Emperor's Children/Fulgrim Pink (50/50)
Highlight: Fulgrim Pink.
Got my hands on a preview for Armageddon in my local GW store. Everything looks superb. The Operation Imperator book has lots of inspirational model and diorama photos as well as lore. I'll be there again tomorrow building miniatures whilst waiting for the preorder to go live.
I was wondering if Emperor's Children fans could help with a question?
In the official Warhammer paint app, the provided pale pink recipe is:
Undercoat: Chaos Black
Basecoat: None given
Shade: Carroburg Crimson
Highlight 1: Emperor's Children
Highlight 2: Fulgrim Pink
I've looked up a fair few recipes online and on this sub and none of them seem to use this scheme.
The curious thing is that there is no basecoat and the first layer essentially being the Carroburg Crimson shade on black
Has anyone here done it like this, or have any photos?
Is this how it is done in the codex?
I can't imagine it turning out like the official art in the app.
(I'm not necessarily asking for other recipes, I'm curious if anyone has used the "official" recipe in the app and what it looks like finished).
