IMO I don't get all the criticism. I'm honestly surprised how similarly it plays to the original HLL. I thought maybe automatic weapons, helicopters, and other modern features, would change the feel too much and it would play more like Arma, or Squad, but it really feels very similar. Even the gunfights don't feel too different. I think if you liked the first game, you should like this one... unless WW2 was like your thing and you were only into the RP part of it. I get not liking things marginally, like maybe you don't like the boats, or helicopters, or something else, but the overall feel of the game stills very HLL, and these small differences shouldn't completely turn you off the game.

However, they do need to like triple down on game performance, but I'll optimistically chalk that up to it being a beta.
