I’m entering my first year of university at LSE and I had already booked student accommodation with LSE at Sidney Webb. I’ve now received an offer for a private accommodation though for £3000 less than the accom I’ve booked. I don’t know which one to go for because I feel like I’ll make more friends if I stay with the LSE accomodation. However, the private one is much nicer and costs less and I would be staying with people from other London unis. The reviews for Sidney Webb also aren’t that great.

Both accommodations are approximately a 30 minute bus journey.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I only have a few days to decide

Like the title says, I had my first ASD assessment yesterday at what was supposed to be 3pm. I joined the call 5 minutes early to make sure everything was working fine, which it was. I waited for over half an hour and no one ever joined the call. I tried switching my WiFi off to see if it was an internet problem. I went off the call and tried again numerous times and no one ever joined the call.

After over half an hour of waiting I decided to just give up on the appointment because I had expected it to only last around 2 hours and had something else planned for later in the day. I emailed hh minds explaining the situation but have so far received no response.

I tried to call as well but the wait was too long and as I said I had something planned for later in the day.

I’m planning on calling again today. Has something similar happened to anyone else? If so what should i have done.
