Please give me suggestions on where I should invest. I’m planning to go for an MBA next year, I would be looking to withdraw my funds in the month of may’27( I have around 10 months from now), what is the safest option I could choose.

Hi all,
I’m a GEF, old IIT (Mech ’25, 9/9/7), in a mech engineer role through campus placements (~18 LPA). Not finding enough learning/growth; don’t want to stay technical. Want to switch into managerial roles (CXOs)in the long term.
Planning to give CAT this year and planing mba from (IIM A/B/C) to completely switch my career.
Concerned about my relatively average profile and limited extracurriculars for placements and SIP.
Can I target Product/Finance (besides GenMan)?
What should I do now to improve my chances at placements?
Is MBA really worth enough for me?
