Wide fields and blue skies - Mt. Minandar, Maguindanao del Norte

BARMM has some pretty (and not crowded) hiking destinations. Mt. Minandar is definitely one of them.

Located not too far from Cotabato City, this mountain is a quick and fun dayhike for anyone in the area. Mt. Minandar’s slopes are naturally open, and it provides refreshing views of the Illana Bay below. One can even see the Grand Mosque of Cotabato from the summit.

Try it out if you’re in the area!

Beginner friendly?
Yes. Just bring lots of water and an umbrella, it can get hot out there.

DIY-able?
