I'm setting up a trip to Yucatan (family with 3 kids, aged 7-13). I have the following draft schedule:

• Friday 18 Dec: Arrival in the evening (19h30) in Cancun. Drive to hotel near Punta Sam
• Saturday 19 Dec: Day Trip Isla Mujeres: Snorkeling, Punta Sur. Drive to Tulum in the evening before dark. Stay in Tulum
• Sunday 20 Dec: Explore Tulum region (beach, cenotes, Tulum ruines, …). Stay in Tulum
• Monday 21 Dec: Explore Tulum region (beach, cenotes, Tulum ruines, …). Stay in Tulum
• Tuesday 22 Dec: Tulum in the morning. Drive to Bacalar in the afternoon. Stay in Bacalar
• Wednesday 23 Dec: Explore Bacalar: Boat trip/Kayak, laguna, beach, … Stay in Bacalar
• Thursday 24 Dec: Explore Bacalar: Boat trip/Kayak, laguna, beach, … Stay in Bacalar
• Friday 25 Dec: Drive to Mérida. Visit Uxmal on the way. Stay in Mérida
• Saturday 26 Dec: Merida center/surroundings. Stay in Mérida
• Sunday 27 Dec: Explore Izamal & Chichen Itza. Stay In Valladolid
• Monday 28 Dec: Explore Valladolid & surroundings . Stay in Valladolid
• Tuesday 29 Dec: Daytrip to Rio Lagartos. Stay in Valladolid
• Wednesday 30 Dec: Travel to Holbox in the morning. Enjoy Holbox in the afternoon
• Thursday 31 Dec: Enjoy/Explore Holbox
• Friday 1 Jan: Enjoy/Explore Holbox
• Saturday 2 Jan: Holbox in the morning. Leave at 12h00 to catch plane in Cancun

Note: We will hire a rental car to drive around
