Liokaiser photos Part 1 - unboxing and components

I've got a TON of photos and a lot of comparison shots to get, so I'll split this into multiple posts. Also sorry for the jank photos, I am NOT a good photographer!

My initial reactions are quite positive. I was worried the set would feel jank but almost everything feels solid and it's BIG, much bigger than I was expecting. The box was well protected as always, the instructions are good (but forgot Deathcobra's heels), and the joints are all tight except for Liokaiser's knees. No paint complaints so far, but the edge of Deathcobra's head plate thing needed to be sanded to properly snap down. Articulation is not amazing, sadly, with only Jallguar having true proper ankles (everyone else only has toe tilt), and as TJOmega was worried Killbison and Drillhorn's shoulder joint looks a bit strange. Nothing is actually wrong with the set, though, and it definitely feels worth the price for me.

Pls ask questions and request comparison photos!

Can anyone tell me what brand of bassoon this is?

Since my last post I got my hands on this bassoon and started learning how to play it. Going well, but I'm wondering what brand this instrument is. I think it's a student model but I'm totally unversed in bassoon models. Thanks!

Sax and clarinet player here looking to learn bassoon - what do I need to know?

I've played sax for 7 years and clarinet for 5, and I want to learn bassoon. I just find the sound enamoring. I know the embouchure and reed are totally different and the fingerings are quite different too, but I'm fairly confident I can learn these with patience and the right gear.

I have access to a few bassoons but I know nothing about them other than they're all broken and would probably need repairs, or else I can rent one from a local music shop. Is there a certain brand I should look to rent or repair? I've heard bassoon quality makes or breaks the learning experience.

Also, in terms of reeds, I know custom reeds are better, but as a total beginner is there a manufactured brand that's good that I should look for, or do I need to find a reed dealer? Lastly, coming from the instruments I do, are there any habits I'll need to kick or adjust for bassoon?

Thanks
