I've seen Into the Spiderverse, but it's been so long that I can't accurately rank it, and I was half asleep from traveling all day while I was seeing Across the Spiderverse, so I just need to rewatch it

MASSIVE TRIGGER WARNING FOR THIS TALE

This is Mipha. She's adorable, she's 1, and she's the light of my life. I love her with all my heart, but I swear she seeks out the grossest possible things to do. Some stuff is sonewhat common in dogs like trying to eat goose poop on a sidewalk, but today she did something that I'm pretty sure qualified her as a biohazard before she got the most thorough, longest, biggest bath of her life.

This morning I let her outside and she started rolling in the yard. I think nothing of it. Just now, she was outside and she rolls in the same spot again. I find that concerning so I look over at the spot and there it was: >!a decomposing rat!<. I hold her back and get a stick to flick it into the street, but as I'm struggling to do so, I get a closer look at it. She wasnt just rolling around on >!a decomposing rat!< with no head, she was rolling around on a >!decomposing rat with maggots squirming all over it!< and >!some kind of pumping squishy substance on its belly that moved even when I wasnt flicking it!<. She has her vaccines, so I'm not too worried about a vet trip, but my god. At least she's clean and smells good now
