€25k freed up after deciding to rent – better alternatives than a savings account?
Hello
Three years ago I started investing. At the time, I wasn't sure whether I'd be buying or renting, so I parked €25k in a Fidelity savings account as a buffer for a potential home purchase. The rest went into IWDA/EMIM.
In September, my girlfriend and I are renting an apartment together, which means I won't need the €25k for a home purchase for at least 3 years. I'd like to put this money to better use than leaving it in a regular savings account. Of course, I won't be putting it in ETFs because I still want to spend it on a house someday.
What are my options?
