I am making my own covers and I was trying to find a certain style to go with for my works. Writing is a hobby and passion (one can only work so much). So, I would like to ask you how these covers look to you, if you get the "fantasy" feeling and any comments and feedback would be welcome. First image is my newest cover while the second one is from my previous work.
Just finished the Book that Held her Heart (only Daughter of Crows to catch up with Mark Lawrence's works) and I am left with some questions that I felt the need to discuss. I loved the trilogy overall (I like time-paradoxes so this time it was quite easy to win me over) but I am left wondering regarding Evar. Perhaps I missed something (please enlighten me if this is the case), but I think it's left somewhat open as to who he was. >!The overall feeling I got was that he was an Escape, a being created through the book-paradox, and that's why he was the only one without any memories.!< I probably need some time to let the ending sink a bit but well, I felt the need to discuss this (at least here the opinion you might have).
