Im still frothing on this season

I’m absolutely loving this season.

I never feel like I don’t have anything to do. My character is paragon level 180 and I don’t feel anywhere near finished yet.

I’m a 40-year-old gamer and Dad and I haven’t had this much fun in years .

They absolutely nailed so many aspects of this expansion .

Anybody else still buzzing since the release?

Counterswarm spiritborn advice

Counterswarm spiritborn interaction

Howdy,

Question about counterswarm evade spiritborn build:

I’m running shattered vow as my main weapon and I’m wondering if it’s a clash / no-bo with the 5 set bonus from balazans bite.

Balazan’s bite “Non-boss enemies poisoned for more than their remaining life are killed instantly every 6 seconds and unleash "Scourge," which increases your Poison damage by 250% for 10 seconds.”

Shattered vow “Execute enemies afflicted by more Damage over Time than remaining Life.”

Surely this means enemies are executed before the balanzan’s bite has a chance to proc? What am I missing? Is it a distinction between ‘poisoning’ vs ‘damage over time’?

I don’t see scourge going off so I’m guessing it’s not happening but the buildguide I’m using is written by immortalize who knows FAR more then I ever will about this game.

I was thinking of running this setup instead:
2 set charm bonus of balazans bite so 80% poison damage time

\+ widows web “Your Critical Strikes cause your Poisoning on an enemy to burst, dealing \[167 - 200%\] of the total Poisoning instantly to them and 10% of the burst to surrounding enemies before removing the Poisoning effect from the primary target.”

\+ protean heart “The Base Spirit of a Skill cast grants:
・ Eagle: x(25-30%) Movement Speed
・ Gorilla: x(25-30%) Damage Reduction
・ Jaguar: x(25-30%) Attack Speed
・ Centipede: x(2.5-3.0%) Life per Second
Casting a Skill of a different Base Spirit: Swaps to the new bonus, Increases Core Stats by +100% for 7 seconds.”

Thoughts on this? Is there anything I’m really obviously missing?
