Does the energy ever return?

I've been off Clonazepam for about 10 months now and I'm fatigued so often. My sleep has been a lot better. I'm getting 8-9 hours a night now, but after being awake for only a couple hours, I can feel like my feet are dragging. I eat good and try to get all the essential nutrients I need, yet some days I just feel drained for no real reason. Do energy levels return to normal?

Will microdosing THC delay recovery?

I'm wondering if taking small amount of thc will alter or delay my recovery with BIND.

I had a very small amount of thc in a cbd gummy and it seemed to relax me. But if it will change the way I heal or delay recovery, I would be less likely to use it.

Is there any clear evidence of this? Does anyone know?

Can anyone relate or provide me hope

One of the hardest things for me is not having hope. I can continue to endure if I have hope that things will improve. I wish that I could find someone who has experienced or is experiencing what I am going through. It would make me not feel so alone in this. As I was tapering Clonazepam, I noticed how I was losing flexibility over time in my hamstrings and back... now I can't even bend down past my knees, my back is stiff like a board and hardly bends at all, and because of this it is incredibly easy to strain muscles on these areas. If I try to stretch too much, I hurt myself and cause muscle spasms and twitching. Because my muscles are so tight I'm in pain almost every day. No amount of light stretching improves my flexibility. It's so weird. It's almost like stretching is stressful for my nervous system. If someone could tell me that this is indeed because I got off klonopin after almost 20 years of use and that it will pass eventually on its own once my nervous system calms down, that would give me so much relief, and hope! It's so hard because it's like I guess I just have to wait and see, but how long will I be waiting, and what if I wait another year and nothing changes? I'm doing everything I should be doing, getting consistent sleep, eating right, staying hydrated, not overtaxing myself with stressful stuff, walking plenty throughout the day, etc.. I'm just at such a loss. I wish someone would say, "yes I had those muscular problems and after this amount of time it faded away and I regained my mobility".. Please reach out with any stories or posts of encourage for me.

Ocular migraines. Anyone else get?

This past week I've had two ocular migraines, which aren't painful, bur have that "aura" effect in my vision. Has anyone else gotten this during their benzo recovery? I've never experienced them before. They only last for maybe 10 minutes to an hour. I think they're stress related, but could be a sign of healing? I dont know.

Meds added during benzo withdrawal?

Has anyone here added any medications that you started to take during your benzo taper or even after cessation that helped with stress?

Woke up around 4am with pain in my lower back on my right side. I got up and felt super nauseous and dizzy. Back pain got worse. Super excruciating. Some of the worst pain I've felt. I felt the urge to pee but didn't have to go. Made me think of a kidney stone. Couldn't even take deep breathes without it hurting. My dad called an ambulance to come and get me. Once I got in the hospital bed, pain began to subside... of course. Had all sorts of blood work, urine labs, CT scan done. All okay, except for being a bit dehydrated and constipated. All in all, what was it? Muscle spasms in my back. That pain floored me. They put me on muscle relaxers. I'm just super afraid. Dealing with that for hours was horrible. If anyone has been following my story, they know that I've been dealing with back pain and muscle tightness everyday. I was in physical therapy trying to help things, but I guess that was too strenuous on my muscles.. Benzos truly are horrible, I can't think of what else it would be.. but now I wish I never got off of them. I never had problems this severe when I was on them. I've been off Clonazepam for 200 days! Can anyone relate to this or have heard similar stories? Can anyone offer me hope and encouragement, I'm feeling overwhelmed..

Anyone else's symptoms seem to get worse as the day goes on? I feel like the first 5-6 hours of the day are the best for me... then muscle tension/pain builds, heavy breathing starts to set in, hopeless/racing thoughts creep in, etc.

Why is this?

I've been off benzos for about 6 months now and best I can guess is the gaba receptors that have upregulated can handle stress for the first part of the day, but my system hasn't recovered enough to handle the stressors of the whole day yet.. its like by the half way point they're already taxed.
