Hip Labrum tear - stem cells worth it?

Was shown a plan to get stem cells injected for small (1-2 cm) labrum tear in my right hip. The plan is 3 rounds of stem cells, spaced out at 6 weeks each, for $4800 total.

Has anyone done treatment for this before? Was it worth it? Kind of hard to cough up that kind of money, but trying to make my hips last.

The stem cells come from Platinum Biologics and the provider is RegenRx in Denver if anyone has any first hand results from either of these.

Appreciation and longevity post

While there are many posts about zippers failing or rips/tears, I wanted to make a post about the longevity of my Xmid pro 2, v1. Just finished ~500 miles on the Colorado trail, plus ~20 nights of use before this. No ground cloth either! She’s held up beautifully and continues to serve me well. Shoutout to Dan for the great gear, and always taking the time to help people who are having issues with the products!
