Based on the enormous success of The Odyssey and past Nolan films, why don't theaters just have regular re-releases of his movies in IMAX/70mm?
Looking for opinions of those who work at theaters or are familiar with the industry. Genuinely curious what is stopping theaters and studios from doing this? There would be so much guaranteed revenue and demand if they had marathons of 70mm or regular IMAX showings of The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Interstellar, etc. on a regular basis.
