RPM CRASH SINCE JUNE

Since June everything is f*cked.

RPM came down from 2€ to 0.1€, sometimes even 0€!

Contacted TikTok Support, of course this is what they said:

Thanks for reaching out, my name is Sarra. I am sorry that you are facing this issue with low RPM. I am here to help you with that.

We completely understand your concern about seeing your rewards fluctuate - it's natural to want consistency in your earnings.

We know it can be confusing when your rewards level off, and we appreciate you giving us the chance to explain. This happens because the rewards system is dynamic and is always being balanced to support the entire creator community fairly and sustainably.

Your individual earnings can shift based on several complex factors that go beyond just your own video views, including:
- Your earnings are influenced by how all other creators' videos are performing at the same time. Think of it as a large, shared pool of funds that adjusts based on platform-wide engagement.
- The system looks at more than just views; it considers originality, how long people watch your videos (play duration), and audience engagement (likes, comments, shares).
- The total funds available for distribution are adjusted regularly to ensure the program can support as many dedicated creators as possible in the long run.

While we can't share the specific calculation details, you are in control of the most important factor: your content! Our best advice is to keep focusing on what you do best: creating high-quality, original videos that your audience loves. That is the most effective way to thrive within this dynamic system.

We're cheering you on and are here if you need anything else!

The ticket is now closed. A short survey will follow this message. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated and will help us improve the support experience.

Best Wishes,
Sarra

What's this RPM crash?

Hey guys, I seriously don't know what to do anymore…

My RPM used to be between 1.50€ and 3€, but since mid June EVERYTHING crashed.

Barely getting 3€ per video now, I used to make up to 200€ per video… WTF.

I used to make 2k per month, now I'm down to around 300€ per month?

Don't get me wrong, 300€ a month passively is still alright but there must be a reason for this drop or?

I asked TikTok but they said there's nothing they can do?

I do high quality gaming content and never had any strikes or account restrictions…

At this point there's no reason to keep uploading if they don't change it…

Anyone else with the same problem?

If yes, how did you manage to solve it?

Previous owner broke switchgear pin on my 2023 R3, now housing spins freely. Fix advice?

Hey guys,

I recently realized the previous owner broke the positioning/alignment pin inside the right handlebar switchgear on my 2023 Yamaha R3. They had wrapped blue tape around the back of the housing from the outside to keep it from spinning on the clip-on. (You can see some blue stains remaining on the plastic)

I removed the old tape, and now the whole switchgear assembly rotates freely around the handlebar. To make matters worse, one of the internal screw bosses is cracked, so I can't even clamp it down properly. Seems like he tried to lock it with a screw?

Obviously I can't ride the bike to a shop like this, and I don't have a trailer.

What is the best way to fix this permanently or securely enough to ride? Has anyone successfully re-created the pin, or is wrapping grip tape/friction tape under the housing on the clip-on the go-to solution here?

Thanks in advance.
