They need to make a dedicated skill point/credit farm
To put an end to the constantly updating stream of get-rich-quick event lab submissions that are taking up a lot of the recommendations on the front pages of the popular and trending tabs in the event lab
No shame to the people trying to find the most efficient way to grind to completion or whatever, I want that for you too! It would be nice if there was a dedicated page for everyone to find their tracks/modes to go to. I don't think anyone dreamed of having to drive through giant bowling pins and chain link fences over and over for 30 minutes. Let's try and be a little bit better than that; we're not animals, we live in a society although I'm not sure how much longer that claim will hold on our current trajectory
I'm sure after a few weeks of honest attempts at submissions and the devs picking a few and have a rotating slate of tracks, maybe build a few themselves, and then have a cap of 10, 25, 50 and 5k, 50k, 200k or whatever amounts correlate to how long the track takes. Speed tests, jumps, obstacle courses, loops, drifts, etc for variety. Have a simple restart system to minimize menu time
There's not really specific parameters, just needs to be able to satisfy people trying to grind enough to not be forced to make low effort track that gets thousands more views and upvotes than a quality track that gets buried. Again, no shame. Gamers gon game how they want.
I have played some seriously quality tracks that took some mild digging or a bit of luck. Some of these creators are really setting the precedent for never needing DLC if they can make tracks that entertaining. I personally love dirt rally driving in this game and some of the courses I've found in the event labs are next level compared to most of the tracks in-game. People finding ideal flow paths, unmarked roads, adding jumps and stunts, or changing any number of things can create a whole new experience. I'm sure the same could be said for most other styles of driving in the event labs
So it saddens me when these low effort tracks get pushed to the front of the event lab. The potential there for creators is so good for the community, let's create something dedicated where players can grind, within reason. I think there has to be a cap per day of skill points, perhaps credits as well? Perhaps it can be integrated in the tracks to avoid exploits, or a cap overall if it's excessive?
Is this possible? Probable? It seems like the best thing for all concerned; players looking to grind know where to go and can actually try to maximize playing the game in some manner that's hopefully fun rather than mind numbing, and creators get seen more and players get to play more with improved ease of access.
I am loving FH6 so far, it has a ton of stuff that's been right up my alley. Some room for improvement too. Event labs rocks so hard, I hope it continues to grow and evolve, it seems like it would benefit from allowing farmers/grinders to get what they're after without having to try and "cheat", giving the creative gallery to those putting in tons of effort. Thoughts?
