My first clutch started hatching today! 🥰

I've noticed this comes up multiple times, but wanted some extra clarification. My watch will miss hours in the middle of the night or not start recording until hours after I'm in bed. Case in point: I was in bed, presumably asleep by midnight. Why is my watch inaccurate? For years it was spot on and over the past few months it's just dropping the ball. Position is above the wrist, two fingers like they suggest, all necessary permissions are active, sticker on back removed, sensors clean, software up to date. Am I still missing something? I've been paired with my Pixel 6 for the entire time I've had this model of watch.
