Beta 14, damn my hubris.
My mythic d3’s were holding the line nicely. So nicely in fact I completely failed to notice Rho enter play. Next turn all my guys were dead.

So.. I need 3 heroes and only 3 heroes. 3 of them must be physical damage. 2 of them must be psykers. The only qualifying physical damage psyker in the game is neurothrope, unless my readout is glitched in some way, as Varro can’t be used on this mission.
It canna be done.
This past year I have gotten much better at not removing every green dots as soon as it appears. The result is now whenever I hit 10 orbs, my screen gets covered in bright green dots.
I’ve noticed a few times and been caught out by it several times. Not all tiles targetable but the enemy are being shaded red.
Be wary.
Mythic missions completed at iron 2. Only hard one was trying to kill 2 with his whip. Did you know you can block knockback direct damage? 8 attempts it took for mission 4.
Been playing for approaching 2 years, all in, with moderate spending. How am I faring besides the obvious “ha ha, you chose admech and they’re not the best now.”
I just watched a short lore video which stated volk was the first obliterator. It also. Said he was an iron warrior, so why is he in the black legion?
Lore me up, hivemind.
Me: moves up terminators.
Necron player: “ but what if you *didn’t* have any terminators?” *moves thutmose over to shake hands*
It’s simple enough but I want to speed up the process. I realised I can use Trajann to almost double my damage output and potentially add another 2 hits to push that even further, ( from 5x600 ish to 7x1100) and Aun’Shi to reload patermine, which is great. I presume high ground will further increase this.
I have a couple of other questions though.
Firstly, other than Trajann and Aun’Shi, are there any buffers I can use to squeeze more out of it?
Secondly, I’m aware that some side bosses, most notably on Magnus, can be used to grab outlandish damage due to certain effects.
With no Magnus I can use that trick, but tanksmasha will be available to me shortly and the barrels will hit tanksmasha so a 2 part question follows: will the barrel damage be attributed in the same way as Thaumacus and co and will that attributed damage still count as psychic?
Having trounced our opponents in the first round I was keen to get our reward and tweak my setup for the next round but we are getting this message.
Anyone else got this glitch?
