Pictures are all from different days. I was just wondering if this is normal or if she just special? Whenever i leave the room she goes back into her hides but the minute i come back she pokes her head out and starts roaming her enclosure and staring at me. This happens even during the day but whenever i put my hand in her enclosure to see if she wants to come out she looks at it like its the most disgusting thing she has ever seen and even shakes her reptile paws as if i were infected 😭.

She does like being handled she just doesnt like my hands, only arms and shoulders for her and she chooses when its time for handling. I just wanna know why she keeps staring at me and is only active when im in the room (as far as im aware)

So since i have no idea how to update i decided to make a new post. I have had Vodka for maybe 2 or 3 weeks now (honestly not sure w how busy i’ve been) and wanted to know if her weight is looking better and if i should keep her current diet so she keeps going up in weight or start switching to feeding her once to twice a week? Also wanted some help on the setup i have for her, i plan on getting her some more climbing stuff since i know she likes to climb but i haven’t yet ordered anything. Another thing i would appreciate help with is handling. I do choice based handling but Vodka does not like being picked up after, so even when she climbs up my hand and is on my lap or shoulder or whatever, its incredibly hard to pick her up after without her feeling stressed. Is there a way to help her feel less afraid or stressed around my hand or when being picked up? Btw i do plan on replacing the temp things in the back i know how grossly wrong they can be. added some extra pics of her as tax and the two first picks are her before and after.

I just got this lovely girl yesterday she is around 2.5 yrs old, she is super friendly and allows herself to be held. I'm mostly worried about her weight and feeding, the breeder i got her from fed her 2 times a week tho the exact amount im not sure, i fed her 5 mealworms with calcium yesterday (wednesday) and plan to feed her again sunday however i wanna make sure that im feeding her correctly. Her tank is still a work in progress since i am a bit of a beginner and would also appreciate some help with the lighting, im gonna make her a moist tank today and have decorations and more stuff for her soon once i order them. Any tips would be appreciated she's my first leopard gecko ever and wanna give her the best care possible.

Edit: The breeder i got her from had already breeded her previously and sold the babies (not sure how long ago but thought it may be relevant) He also said it was a super platinum morph
