Why is it so hard for Count Janus Hassildor of Skingrad to touch a fiery little sun? Unless… he has heliophobia! That explains a lot about Janus actually. He stays up during the night and avoids sunlight. For a minute I almost thought he was a vampire with how he behaved. Glad to know he’s completely normal and has his own phobias. Now stop panicking and grab the orb like this!

Hail citizens. The count got a Daedric hammer at least so now he is ready to defend his home. I was trying to figure out how to close this gate with him and the whole heliophobia fit perfectly. Now about those allies we need!

You see that tall beaming orange glow of molten hot magma? That’s what’s powering the gate. We have to go all the way up and literally take a giant red ball off its magical pedestal. That’s it. Except it would be easier if you know… we had our weapons. Just saying.

Hail citizens. Getting both of them in here without them running through lava when I’m not bugged is a different story. If Janus goes blegh he gets up and is no longer aggroed cause he’s far away. Then there’s Pally who wades through everything and just bleghs himself. So I got them stuck somewhere then ran inside and waited five minutes. Easy!

At least we got to enjoy a nice little cleansing spa. Janus is fine he’s just one of the face down swimmers. Pally isn’t having any trouble enjoying the warm lava. I’ll be inside of you guys are ready. No rush though since we won’t have anymore lava once we close the gate. Enjoy it while you can!

Hail citizens. Turns out I activated some kind of hidden god mode and lava become fancy water instead. I’m guessing I opened my menu before dying and it bugged but I gotta say it’s kinda fun just enjoying lava instead of fearing it. I’ll never have to worry about the floor being lava ever again!

I know you can handle this Pally but I’d like to get our special mace back so try to make it look as hard as possible while we are here. I want you to struggle as much as you can so our good friend Janus here gets us our stuff back. I don’t entirely trust a guy with red eyes who has a habit of spontaneously combusting.

Hail citizens. It turns out I can actually bring more than one person with me into gates now. All through the power of handcrafted spells that helped get me Ocato and his legion to Sancre Tor. Spells are friends, not doors!

Something even seems off about the count. I can understand why so much paranoia exists in a town with so many supernatural occurrences. After we apologize we’ll help close the oblivion gate for the count and maybe, just maybe, get our stuff back. But we have to prove we mean it. That means going in the gate with no weapons. I’m gonna blame Pally for this 100%. I think he’s still paranoid too.

Hail citizens! Yes everyone involved in the dispute yesterday has had their weapons removed and put in the undercroft. It is guarded by friendly ghosts so I guess we can get it back after the gate. Skingrad is definitely a place. Even Captain Dion is with us, right behind Count Hassildor, without his weapon. I’m guessing he has to come with us to the gate too.

Leave it to church ghosts to be advocating for peace in a time like this. As Pally gives up his weapon the city guards are chasing some poor lady with Glarthir right behind them. This town has some serious problems and I don’t think the oblivion gate is one of them. I’m still mad at Pally for being mad at me though. I will have to see if he behaves or not.

Hail citizens. Sometimes I don’t know what’s gonna happen till I get a hold of a shot that makes me think “Well now that’s interesting!” So Pally is giving up his weapon, reluctantly, and it will be held inside the undercroft with everyone else’s! Maybe Glarthir was right after all!

Evidently fighting above a burial site isn’t so good for your overall health as the ghosts came out from the lower levels. This could be the distraction I need to make my escape. No one is getting my armor today!

Hail citizens. It just keeps getting weirder and weirder here in Skingrad. What started as an argument has now lead to skirmishes within Skingrad that have disturbed the dead inside holy sanctuaries. This town ain’t right!

I just found it funny that I could bring out the ghosts from the undercroft to join in the chaos upstairs. This is one heck of a side mission!

All I was doing was sitting and spying on the lady Glarthir was suspicious of. They talk about him behind his back and I had a feeling Pally and the guards would be watching me too! This is far bigger than I realized. I wonder what Pally and Captain Dion say about me. They want my armor I know it…

Hail citizens. This quest is gonna be near absolutely impossible as I can’t even talk to Dion or keep Glarthir from attacking Pally and guards. But it’s funny either way.

He could have kept to his side of town but instead he’s on my turf looking for me. I knew he couldn’t be trusted! Good thing I have the Jone’s Shadow Greater Power to stay hidden. Now to see what Pally does!

Hail citizens. Skingrad at night gives off really good creepy vibes! Wee woo, wee woo, weewooweewoo!

This guy might be on to something. It would explain why Pally seems so distant. After all Pally is just standing there, menacingly! The only person I know I can trust is myself. Maybe Pally wants all the glory for himself! I might have to get rid of him to be sure…

Hail citizens. Evidently whenever Pally gets near, Glarthir wants to immediately punch him and start a whole city riot. I don’t know how long I can keep the peace. Maybe I have to free Pally from his service, permanently!

I’m starting to worry that maybe he’s had enough? What if he doesn’t want to journey anymore? Am I the problem? Maybe I haven’t thought about what Pally wants or what he’d like to do. Never thought about it that way. Maybe I’m the problem…

Hail citizens. I figured I would do an inverted video where this time Pally is on the bridge as we arrive since Skingrad has a lot of entrances. This spot was perfect for the whole split theme that’s gonna be happening. It’s also gonna be chaotic on my end trying to keep the city at peace lol.

Pally hadn’t been to the West Coast of Cyrodiil and wanted to visit the towns on our journey so I eventually agreed but we are giving each other space. There’s a lotta stress about the whole saving the world thing and we don’t want to take it out on each other. I’ll be the bigger kitty.

Hail citizens. I had an opportunity to get a great foggy visual along a bridge not often used and I thought it was funny to have Pally be mad at me. We haven’t really been to Skingrad but this should be interesting! I kinda like the idea of us being split like Skingrad is when we get there. Gotta see where this idea leads!

I’d like to head to Chorrol and see a new city close to Bruma since we passed it last time at Sancre Tor. But, Pally had a different idea. Sure we can get to five different cities going that way so it does make more sense. We need to gather up allies like Martin wanted. I also have to find Shadowbanish wine at some point now too. Whenever I complete something two more tasks always appear. This armor is cursed.

Hail citizens. I’m kinda wondering if I sleep too long in game of Pally’s inventory will reset to get his armor back but then he’d lose what I gave him. I don’t want to lose the mace cause I kinda like that weapon. I went through a lot to get it!

Nothing beats the feeling of getting a great refreshing sleep. Pally had to sleep at the foot of the bed though as there was only one pillow. Now to just level up my stats a bit and we can start our day off right! I wonder what Pally’s stats are at this point?

Hail citizens. You didn’t think it was possible to level up with a bounty of 200k and a guard right next to you huh? Well this is no ordinary guard, it’s Pally! I’m wondering what level I should stay at? I need just a couple more levels, maybe at least 35?

It’s gonna take awhile to dry off Talos’ armor and even longer for me. At least the proprietor of this establishment is kind enough and doesn’t mind wet Khajiit, as long as we pay. Poor Pally’s moccasins are soaked too, but we can relax for now after all that fishing.

Hail citizens. I wish I could remove Talos’ armor and have it sit somewhere but I can’t remove quest items. I’d even let Pally wear it if I could. But the “Go Fish” quest is still buggy. I’ll have to see if coming back later helps.

The very last fish we encountered had been hiding at the bottom with my armor. He was more like a docile puppy who had a toy but with really big teeth and fins. I know why this water is murky though. The entire Imperial City drains into it. That means we are swimming in… *dies in fish*

Hail citizens. I’ve never been a fan of lake water myself since it always makes me feel icky. I hope I never have to go swimming ever again!

They fly now. This one was nowhere near the indicator. It wasn’t even in the lake! Fishing is harder than battling oblivion gates. Spent half a day already and still have a few more to go! I haven’t even looked for my armored pants yet…

Hail citizens. If you find that the fish are not in the lake, do not fret. The indicator is more like a suggestion than an actual location.

This is how we fish without rods. I’m not getting in the water until it’s safer after a few fish. I need to look for my leg armor but not at the expense of Tiber Septim’s Golden Fleece! Pally is good about coming up for air every so often so I’m not worried, he’ll be fine. It’s just giant deadly slaughterfish!

Hail citizens. You weren’t kidding saying the fish are bugged. I’ve been saving before every fish as it is random whether or not the next one spawns! But at least it’s more relaxing to go fishing with Pally than battle an undead army.

In this case that even means going out of my way to help this man go fishing from the town of Weye. He seems distressed that he only needed like twelve more of... slaughterfish? Turns out he wants special fish scales. Well, as a cat how can I say no to fish? What if my leg armor is in Lake Rumare? Alright Pally back in the water!

Hail citizens. I was informed that this quest can be buggy so let’s hope for the best. I also did fix Pally’s 5th dimensional phase shifting! Turns out when he was paralyzed or fatigued past 0 he would pop up at the imperial city entrance to the Talos District. No idea why but I’m guessing he got home sick. All I had to do was go to where he ported and now paralyze works again! What a relief!

Pally can you explain why I have no leg armor and I’m standing in the middle of Lake Rumare surrounded by what used to be bandits? I’m gonna guess the campsite we spent the night at wasn’t entirely abandoned. Next time I’m using skooma.

Hail citizens. Unfortunately Pally gets sent to the 5th dimension even from fatigue spells now. That completely disrupts any plans I have of making him sit still. That’s gonna make things more interesting since I can’t loot his inventory as easily.
