I saw an episode of Frieren: Beyond Jounrey's End where Stark gets ragdolled like an Oblivion NPC and I could not resist editing it :)
So I can access the ladder in the DB sanctuary to leave but when I try to take the well to enter I get stuck inside the small room and my big a## Nord man can’t get through the doorway. I’ve tried crouching, running, jumping. Every way of trying to cheese through the opening and still Nord man is still too large.
On my first play through.
I did most of the good guy quests already because I wanted to be a hero on the first time. But after I get through with all the those quest lines I decided to do the DB because everyone says it’s the best. So far I’m only seven or so quests in but wow, it’s like a family. The characters feel like actual friends and are so much more welcoming than all the other guilds. I think my favorite part of the game so far is how nice this crew of murderers is. Together we’re unstoppable. Anyway, just had to say that, I’m excited to see where the storyline goes and how my new friends will develop
It's a great series if you're into in-character roleplays. Wish there were more Oblivion roleplays like this
currently doing Mephala’s daedric questline
You see that tall beaming orange glow of molten hot magma? That’s what’s powering the gate. We have to go all the way up and literally take a giant red ball off its magical pedestal. That’s it. Except it would be easier if you know… we had our weapons. Just saying.
Hail citizens. Getting both of them in here without them running through lava when I’m not bugged is a different story. If Janus goes blegh he gets up and is no longer aggroed cause he’s far away. Then there’s Pally who wades through everything and just bleghs himself. So I got them stuck somewhere then ran inside and waited five minutes. Easy!
I did and I couldn't resist. You can't give me such a random dialogue option and not expect me to take it.
I'm not talking about the story although that does make me sad too I'm talking more about the nostalgia specifically in the original. I love the original Oblivion but when I play it I get an overwhelming sense of melancholy. It's because it's from so long ago it's hard to explain but the disconnection in time makes me sad. Another thing is that some of the voice actors have died. Again it's hard to explain but I was wondering if anyone else ever feels this way.
I’m working on making unique armors for all of the major cities for my comic! :] And tbh…… if I get into 3D modeling I’d love to make these real someday lol. I also have an armor for Anvil but it’s super rough so I kinda don’t wanna show it- even though it’s the one I’m drawing the most lmao.
Hopefully someday I’ll get around to coloring these. The Kvatch armor has official colors but I only drew it on my HoK so lol oopsies
I’m thinking a lot of these armors will be more decorative than functional. I’d say the legion armor has the most protection out of these- but even then idk. What kind of battles are these guys doing- catching thieves and thugs? 😭 (Yes I know it’s the literal Oblivion crisis but shhhh, rule of cool wins 🤫)
Don't deny it. We all did it at some point in our lives :)
I was strolling around Talos Plaza at night, gathering Sacred Lotus seeds when I saw a rich-looking gentleman. He told me he wasn't interested in making conversation, as I was too low-status. A quick speechcraft mini-game later, his disposition was 0, and he took out his greatsword. We battled all night, guards kept knocking him out, and I bought all the boar meat in the night pubs and made a ton of poisons of Damage Speed, which I used on him. In the video, you see us in the morning, his armor is broken, his speed is zero, so he keeps losing aggro, and I have already stolen his boots, which give +50 Acrobatics.
At least we got to enjoy a nice little cleansing spa. Janus is fine he’s just one of the face down swimmers. Pally isn’t having any trouble enjoying the warm lava. I’ll be inside of you guys are ready. No rush though since we won’t have anymore lava once we close the gate. Enjoy it while you can!
Hail citizens. Turns out I activated some kind of hidden god mode and lava become fancy water instead. I’m guessing I opened my menu before dying and it bugged but I gotta say it’s kinda fun just enjoying lava instead of fearing it. I’ll never have to worry about the floor being lava ever again!
(it also doesn't feel like leaving lmao)
