Appreciate everyone that got me hyped on it before I got there, it was absolutely worth the wait and not spoiling anything for myself (I played the original game, but I intentionally didn’t look at any screenshots of the final main quest so that the new models and visuals would really hit when I got there). Shit took my breath away just like it did seeing the original the first time.
Did it at level 34, so the majority of enemies attacking me were Xivilai and Kynreeves, and I already have the damage turned up. I really thought I’d gotten past the point of encountering real difficulty from non-boss NPC’s, but holy shit, that was intense. Super glad I made a bunch of potions before I started it and didn’t just rely on generic “strong potion of restore x”, because I hit the potion limit quick, and the passive regeneration of the custom potions was the only thing that kept me alive after a certain point. The NPC’s with us got absolutely mauled; I think everyone besides Occato and Martin died in the first wave. Shit was gnarly. So much fun.
RIP Jauffre, Baurus, all of the Blades that came with us, the Palace Guards that didn’t make it 5 feet outside of the palace doors, and the 30 whatever generic guards that came to throw down. Y’all make me proud to be mortal.
In Gladiator, he grabs this merchant by the balls and tells him “you sold me queer giraffes. All they do is walk around and eat; they won’t mate”. Same brother, same
Anyone have a screenshot of their character wearing it? I can’t find a picture of the full thing anywhere. Appreciate it y’all!
Is hunting down packs of Fell in the Kindlewastes at night the way to go, or do y’all have any better spots? Trying to stock up on alchemical base but it’s a slog
Howdy,
Been playing an archer/ranger specced character and I’m beginning to see “+_% skillshot damage” come up on gear. I see text saying ”effective skillshot” above NPC heads when landing shots pretty frequently, but have no idea what they mean or what triggers it. They seem to happen more reliably on headshots when aiming manually, but I see them happen regularly enough when jumping/kiting and using the game’s ranged auto aim thing to think that it isn’t just headshots. Looks like the better your gear gets, the more you’ll be choosing between either skillshot damage or blanket ranged damage boosts. How does this work?
