I told my friend I wanted to get into OSRS and he gave me this set as something to work toward. Well it turned out to be a lot more work than I had bargained for but it was worth it! Finally killed that dragon today.

I’ve completed the dungeon twice in a row for the quest “Into the Map Room” with a party and both times when my quest will progress up to the point of going back to the map room after grabbing the eye of krok. At that point someone will turn the quest in and I lose all progress on the quest without it being complete. The quest resets to “Talk to Professor Winthrop in the Throne Room of Fire” and directs me to a spot in the dungeon where he’s no longer standing. Do I just need to do this quest solo to get credit for it?

I recently hit level 150 which is super exciting. I’m going around trying to get the max level versions of armor and weapons but I’m discovering that most monsters are killing me in three turns or less. My warrior build normally handles fights pretty well, but all of a sudden I’m getting nuked by monsters that deal 2000+ per round, making questing virtually impossible. I’ve been looking up better armors and weapons but most of them are behind quests where I get destroyed by the 2nd fight. Is it an issue with my stats or do I just need better equipment?

I’ve been playing on and off since 2007 and this week I decided to buckle down and grind out the last few levels in AQClassic and Dragonfable. These pictures were taken 7 days apart but it’s been a very rewarding week for me!

(I decided my last fight before I hit 150 should be the tutorial fight. Seemed appropriate.)
