answering a rather controversial weaving question

answering a rather controversial weaving question

***this graphic is in 100% agreeance, accordance, and compliance to the magic wheel and roshambo. whether or not to stay in compliance with this graphic is at the player's discretion.***

after receiving MANY questions and comments about certain schools not working together, i decided to quickly create a small infographic to clear up the confusion. i think everything in it explains it pretty decently. however, ask any questions you may have incase i missed anything.

!!!BALANCE HAS BEEN EXCLUDED due to it having MAXIMUM SYNERGY with ALL schools!!!

How to make midgame questing less boring?

So I've played with a few different wizards, but I've never gotten past Arc Two on any of them. I feel like I just hit a brick wall getting through some of those worlds. I will admit it is partially because by this point I am running all meta gear and decks, with blades and 7-pip AOEs as essentially the only spells in my deck at this point. I have so far beaten Arc One with Myth, Life, Fire, and Balance. Any tips, or is the game past Arc One just not for me anymore? Is there a point where the combat gets more interesting?

gladiator dimachaerus

Is he really a boss only defeat-able by lvl 90+ wizards? When I first went to Olympus at lvl 30 I did some exploring and NPC chatting and the gladiator quest has officially been stuck on my quest list since. I’ll probably want help anyway but I’m a lvl 87 death so surely I can defeat him w/ help at this point?

What’s a fun boss I can put alongside these other ones?

Any fun or annoying boss suggestions for an interesting fight? Preferably not the devourer because I am scared of it and have not completed that quest

How viable is Gorgon level 100 gear

I specifically mean the hat robe and boots, rather then farming Darkmoore is just crafting the gorgon set good enough?

Tips/Suggestions on my Stats?

Hello guys, just got back into wiz around 3 days ago and wanted help on my stats. How am I looking? From my understanding there’s a new gearset to grind out at 150. Been trying to catch up on all the new information

Why are you using the kiosk??

Just had this wonderful interaction, if you’re going to boss how people should have their decks built so YOU can hit big and feel all tough at your +9 level to me, don’t use the kiosk. If I don’t draw the spell YOU want me to use, then I don’t draw it. What is wrong with people?? The kiosk is for helping one another, don’t be a freaking jerk over a child’s wizard game.

KingsIsle needs to stop nerfing everything into the ground

Seriously, nothing in this game is that challenging anymore. They keep messing with fights that are supposed to challenge you and keep you on your toes. The recent examples of this are the Arcane Toad fights in Wallaru. For the first one he no longer mantles you and recasts the mark, so you just heal round one and boom the cheats are over. Second fight you just don't trap either Toad, just blade up and win, and you don't deal with any cheats at all. And did they nerf Dream Freddie/Confusion too? Confusion's spells no longer deal 10% max health according to the Wiki, is this true?

It's annoying me because I soloed all this on Storm and it made for an interesting challenge. Now i'm doing an Ice and it frustrates me because every time I get to something challenging I find they messed with it. I'm sorry but am i really the only one who finds challenges to be fun in this game? Why do some people have to complain about how hard everything is and get rewarded with the nerfs? Almost every fight in this game can be teamed up for, and if they wanted to make Dream Freddie/Confusion easier as a solo fight, just make it so Confusion's spells deal 5% of your health instead of 10%. Maybe i'm in the minority but it makes the game boring when all the difficult stuff you need to use your brain for ends up getting watered down. 99% of the game is already blade and AOE anyway, can't we preserve the fights that make you do something different?

Rate my lvl 60 stats

Been playing wiz for over 10 years and I just hopped back on and now I’m playing on console. Haven’t lost my touch I see 😏.

Switch version

For those who have played both the switch and pc versions, is the switch version worth it? I noticed that its around $10 for all of arc 1. What about after that? Does it still require you to pay for a subscription? I am mainly asking because I'm wondering if its worth starting over on the switch version for the benefit of having it be portable?

On my pc account I don't have much aside from some spellements and mounts.

In your opinion, which School has the best looking spells? Which has your least favorite?

I’m really torn between Ice & Myth, both have really awesome spells.

Just grasping the community opinion on Jotun

Got back into the game a few weeks ago, been mainly diving straight through the main story doing some side quests along the way as well as working on the energy consuming tasks, I'm about LVL47(Death Wizard) and decided to take a break on the main line world's (Krok, Marley, Dragonspyre and start working on Wysteria and Grizzleheim a bit more while casually doing a Dragonspyre quest here and there, I just got up to Jotun and did the side dungeons but MAN are they tedious as a solo, I'm not complaining but I'm curious to know if anyone else has shared the same feeling, maybe it's just cause I keep getting bad RMG with the death shields but this is ironically the toughest section I've been through so far, and it doesn't feel like I'm under leveled or anything, I just really gotta play my card right, literally

Nah I didn’t want that 75,000g anyway

Raised a Deep Levithan up to epic and it got storm-shot so I rehatched and got Madame Trixie. Raised that one up to epic and it got storm-shot AGAIN. Rehatched, got Crusty Kisha. Trained it up once to teen and it got fuckin MYTH-BOON. Thanks for saving me time I guess 😭
