The original script had to have said "Warren Beatty" because that's clearly the name Sarah Michelle Gellar's character mouthed in the original episode (Season 3: Ep 13) before "Matthew McConaughey" was dubbed over it.

Maybe Warren Beatty dropped out and McConaughey was a second choice?
