I'm relatively new to mechanical watches, I own a couple Seikos which have been my first and only mechanical watches. I've always liked Oris, both the companies independence and their generally socially conscious ethos. I really wanted a daydate complication and I found this discontinued rectangular for a price that was acceptable to my wallet. It was a bit more dinged up than I would have liked but I'm happy overall.
