So it’s been a while since I’ve had to stack two switches and today I was tasked with doing it. So my ini switch is a 24 port 9300 and the switch I wanted to add was a 48 ports switch. Well, I was under the impression that’s you’d have to power down the 1st switch, insert stacking cables, then power on the 1st switch again. After that, we powered on the 2nd switch. So at first, switch 1 dint see switch 2 until we did the previously mentioned steps again. But switch 1 became switch 2 and although it didn’t wipe the configs. After figuring out the correct log in, we tried making reverting the switch back to switch 1 but it keeps loading as switch 2. Any advice? Thank you!

Myself and ex wife share custody of our children. She was named custodial parent in child custody decree. However, I have had our children for 3 years now consistently (meaning all 365 days a year) and she has not contributed anything towards their wellbeing. On paper, it states that I am suggested to pay a certain amount to her when they are with her. When they are not with her, she isn’t mandated CS. But our decree also states that we are to split their personal costs 60/40 (me having the 60% and she with 40%) and all medical costs are 50/50. When they were with her, one of our children incurred medical expenses and I ended up paying 100% of it. When they were also with her, I paid for 100% of their expenses and most times double of what the courts suggested (I did not have mandated CS and there wasn’t any taken out of my paycheck. I’d pay her directly.) Should I revisit getting this decree modified? She is supposed to get them again this year but can’t due to not having a stable place for them to live.
