Hi all, I was so excited to find this community, it feels like exactly what I've been looking for the past 8 months. I've been on zepbound since August and have felt really good on it, I'm considering starting maintenance soon.
However, my new prior authorization was denied because my insurance seemingly no longer covers it so they're telling me I need to try other options (like wegovy) or have my doctor provide a medical reason why I can't take the alternatives. Has anyone had experience with having their prior authorization denied and had a successful appeal? I could consider switching but I'm hesitant to do so when I've felt so good on zepbound (very few side effects overall which feels very important to me). Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
