This battle doesn’t get talked about enough

Tsubasa and Kyoya had a very close and intense battle during the qualifiers. They where evenly matched for almost the whole fight. The battle came down to a clash of pure force at the end which Kyoya won by a small margin. You can see that Leone had lost most of its stamina and was spinning slowly and wobbling. Kyoya won high diff.

People should account for this battle when ranking characters at the end of metal masters. I think it’s a common belief that Kyoya experienced more growth as a blader than Tsubasa over the course of metal masters and I’m not arguing against that. But Tsubasa underwent tremendous growth during this season as well. The idea that Julian > Tsubasa at the end of the season would suggest that Tsubasa is miles and miles below Kyoya, to the point where Kyoya could literally crush Tsubasa no-low diff. And I just don’t think that was the case. This battle is one of the reasons why that take doesn’t sit right with me.

[repost] Argo>>>Klaus (and I’m tired of pretending otherwise)

I’m tired of people throwing Argo under the bus and putting Klaus on a pedestal when Argo was clearly depicted as the superior blader in metal masters.

  1. Argo is extremely strong: Tsubasa had to avoid clashing head on with Ray Gil for most of their fight because he was getting overpowered, and Keep in mind Tsubasa>Jack in raw peak strength. We clearly saw Tsubasa overpower Jack in a clash of special moves. Argo was also able to severely crack flame Libra with a single blow, which is proof of the overwhelming force he is capable of producing with Ray Gil. Klaus has no feats of cracking/damaging beys.

  2. Klaus was utterly destroyed and hospitalized by Jack: Klaus’s attacks where very ineffective against Evil Befall. Klaus got completely overwhelmed by Befall’s blade like spin track during their battle, to the point where Grand Capricorn had suffered extreme physical damage and the shock and explosion from Jack’s special move left Klaus stiff as a board and needing medical attention. It was a no-low diff win for Jack.

  3. Ray Gil’s durability: Tsubasa’s Eagle clearly sustained more damage from Ray Gil’s keel-like energy ring than from Befalls blades spin track, even though both Argo and Jack attacked Eagle relentlessly with these respective parts. That is proof that Ray Gil is durably superior to Evil Befall although both beys feature sharp edges, Ray Gil is forged from a harder, stronger material. That being said, Ray Gil would certainly damage Capricorn badly as well

  4. Tsubasa was pushed to his limits: Argo had Tsubasa on the brink of defeat multiple times during their match. Ray Gil was said to to able to deliver devastatingly strong attacks even at close range, Ray Gil is undoubtedly the third strongest attack type bey in metal masters behind Galaxy Pegasus, and the defense type Eagle was at its mercy. And I don’t want to hear anyone saying Tsubasa wasn’t mentally 100%. Tsubasa still stayed calm and batted to the limit of his strength and ability whether or not the thought of batting Argo intimidated him. So that argument is weak and irrelevant and doesn’t explain how Argo is below Klaus.

  5. Respective techniques: Klaus uses very predictable straight forward attacks in battle, where as Argo’s battle style is much more rapid and fast paced and features non-stop barrage attacks that are said t

o

  1. possess the same destructive force as a fully wound-up attack. Ray Gil is speedy and agile whereas Capricorn is much more slow and clunky and is not a bey that can instantly regain balance or deliver extremely precise, calculated attacks. Argo would not fall victim to Klaus’s predictable and primitive style, he would intercept Capricorn’s attacks easily then attack Capricorn mercilessly with his fusion wheel and keel, overwhelming him and causing serious physical damage to Capricorn. Klaus will not hav

e the necessary techniques or

  1. knowledge to counter Argo’s onslaught. Argo can use Keel- strangler as a series of attacks or as one concentrated devastating blow. Argo would end the battle with a single fully concentrated blow from Keel strangler which will certainly overpower Klaus’s Steel Darkness move, a move that previously failed against Masamune’s Lightning sword flash.

All things considered, Argo is considerably more dangerous and effective in battle than Klaus ever was. Argo is taking this battle low-mid diff at worst.

How does this battle go in metal fury?

Keep in mind, Pluto has the ability to spin steal from left rotating beys, how would this battle play out if Julian confronted Pluto? Which mode would Pluto set Fusion Hades in and which direction would Julian choose to launch Perseus? And of course what would the battle be like and how would it end? Thoughts?

[repost] What if Tsubasa and Dashan switched roles during the spiral force arc?

What if Tsubasa stayed behind to battle Julian and Dashan continued ahead to pursue the spiral core? Dashan would eventually run into Jack who would try to stop him. How would these battles play out and how would it change the plot if at all. Give me your thoughts.
