Medical School In Georgia?

Hey everyone, I'm from the US considering medical school in Tbilisi, Georgia and would love some insight from anyone who has experience there.

A bit about my situation: I already have a bachelor's degree (biology and psychology double major from a US university) and I'm looking to start as soon as possible, ideally this fall. My end goal is to practice medicine in the US, so the USMLE/ECFMG pathway matters a lot to me.

I've been looking at TSMU, DTMU, TMA, and European University Tbilisi. They all seem to be WDOMS listed and ECFMG eligible, but I'm struggling to understand the real differences as an international student, especially one coming in with a bachelor's already.

A few specific questions:

  1. Which school would you recommend for someone specifically targeting the US Match?

  2. Does having a bachelor's degree open up any accelerated or graduate-entry tracks?

  3. What's the international student experience actually like day to day?

  4. Any red flags or things you wish you knew before applying?

Any advice from current students or graduates would be hugely appreciated!
