Aspiring hybrid athlete

Hello everyone! I have recently decided to train to become a hybrid athlete (running and lifting)! The problem is I don’t really know what I should be doing really. I’ve never been consistent in the gym and my cardio is abysmal. I am a 34-year-old male, ~240 pounds and 5’10. My body fat is somewhere between 30-35%. My S/B/D 1rm are 245/180/305 with a trap bar. My 1 mile time is around 12 min and left me gasping for air. Should I try to train hybrid style now?

Beginner program under an hour

I know this type of question gets asked a lot, but I feel like I’m in a unique position. My strength isn’t necessarily beginner but my training is considered beginner. Like I’ve never worked out more than a couple weeks in a row in my life. For context I am 34m, 5’10 and ~240 pounds. My 1rm for S/B/D is 245/180/305 with a trap bar. The part I’m struggling with is analysis paralysis and my workouts HAVE to be under an hour due to life outside the gym. I know the kitchen will be most of my weight loss but I wanna get strong and jacked too. Im just stuck over analyzing everything and need a little help

Machine based SE cluster?

Hello everyone! I plan on starting the Base Building from TB2 and for the SE clusters I’m thinking of using machines. I’m 5’10” and 240 pounds. Is this a viable approach? Right now I’m considering the leg press, chest press, seated row, shoulder press and seated leg curl.
