The body scanner is such an inconsistent piece of joke. I went through the machine and it flagged my crotch area and my elbow joint. Keep in mind I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt, so my elbow wasn’t even covered by anything.
Then a TSA agent rudely ordered me to step out of machine and to the side for a pat down. His tone was like a prison guard barking orders at an inmate rather than interacting with a traveler. He didn’t even ask me to try the machine a second time in case of false positives.
Then, on my way back home, I went through the same type of scanner at a different airport wearing the exact same outfit, and it didn’t flag me at all. That just proves how inconsistent these scanners really are. I’ve been to other countries, and none of their airport security checkpoints were this frustrating. It’s like TSA is stuck in the past.
How do people race for more than an hour? I race for 45 minutes and I’m already mentally exhausted. How do people keep going for three hours or even longer?
With the current price of PC hardware, I don't plan to upgrade my PC anytime in the foreseeable future. Right now, I'm getting decent FPS, and a graphics update would probably just tank performance and force me to lower settings.
Entering:
US → Beijing (200-minute layover) → Wuhan
Exiting:
Wuhan → Hong Kong (60-minute layover) → Taiwan
Also, do I clear immigration in Beijing before boarding the connecting flight to Wuhan? If so, would I then be able to simply exit the airport upon arrival in Wuhan, similar to a domestic flight?
Does a connecting flight through Hong Kong count as a transit region?
My itinerary is:
USA → Hong Kong (few-hour layover, connecting flight) → Wuhan (few days)
Then:
Wuhan → Hong Kong (few-hour layover, connecting flight) → Taipei
Would this itinerary qualify for the 240-hour visa-free transit policy?
