Maybe Miranda’s Paintings Have Way More Clues Than We Think

Look closely at these two paintings, because some of the details are way too specific to ignore.

The Cyclops Painting:

The first thing that stands out is the creature’s huge white nails, Black/white hair, and Green Teeth’s, yellow tongue and he’s wearing something white.
If you imagine the green teeth’s resemble the trees themselves, which could be a visual connection between the creature and the Forest - as if the Forest is part of the same living entity. And VICTOR KEEPS SAYING “THE TREES ARE MOVING “ .

But the really interesting part is the neck and hair. Compare them to the older, blood-covered Boy in White in Miranda’s other painting. The dark neck and the strange black-and-white hair pattern look remarkably similar.
Then you have the yellow tongue, which the theory connects to the Man in Yellow and his association with consuming the townspeople.

So the theory is: What if Miranda wasn’t painting completely different creatures? What if she was unknowingly seeing different aspects of the same entity?
The Forest. The Boy in White. The Man in Yellow. The monsters.
Different forms… but possibly one entity keeping the town alive , feeding on fear and nightmares 👀

The Faraway Tree Could Pull the Funniest Move Yet

What if the talismans aren’t gone forever?
Back in Season 1, Episode 4, Victor showed Ethan that when he threw a rock into a Faraway Tree, it fell back down from the sky. Maybe the same thing happens with the talismans.

It would be hilarious if the tree just sent each talisman back to the house it originally came from, and everyone suddenly found one lying inside and quickly hung it back up.

A bedtime routine that helped me stop having nightmares

I’ve seen a lot of posts here about nightmares, so I wanted to share something that personally helped me.
About two years ago, I was having nightmares almost every time I slept. It got so bad that I would cry just thinking about going to bed. Then I started doing this before sleeping, and for me it completely stopped the nightmares. It still works for me today.
I know everyone has different beliefs, and I completely respect that. I’m a Muslim, this is simply something from my faith that helped me. I’m not trying to convince or convert anyone. I just wanted to share what worked for me in case it helps someone else. If it’s not for you, that’s completely okay.
~Before bed, use the restroom if you need to. Then wash your hands, feet, and face. After that, go to your room (not the bathroom) and:
~Recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Nas while holding your hands together like a cup.
~Gently blow into your palms after finishing.
~Wipe your hands over your head, face, and the rest of your body.
~Repeat this whole process three times.
~That’s it. Then go to sleep.
Whether you believe or not, if you’re struggling with nightmares like I was, you can always try it and see if it helps. I genuinely hope you find some peace and restful sleep.

P.S. I’ll post the three Surahs in the first comment (with transliteration and English translation) for anyone who wants to try them.

Town got jokes, plays time appropriate songs 🤔

My forever hate for this woman . But that aside the jukebox plays time appropriate songs . 🤔

“Ooh child Things are gonna get easier Ooh child Things'll get brighter

Some day, yeah We'll put it together and we'll get it undone Some day When your head is much lighter Some day, yeah We'll walk in the rays of a beautiful sun Some day When the world is much brighter”

Dale was so close to escaping… but the pool was frozen

Maybe water is the key to getting out 👀 Did Dale get stuck because the water was frozen… or because something was missing from the pool?

Jade’s mushroom trip literally showed the motel sign flashing “ANSWERS” right above it. (Scroll right to see the second picture of Jade & hotel sign) Then we see Sophia standing by the pool, staring into it before she jumps. Why is the entity so obsessed with that spot??

Maybe the pool needs to be filled with something (water? tears? 👀) to activate it and become the way out.

Anyway, just me spreading my From propaganda. Don’t mind me lmao. 😭

When jade asked Victor “Don’t you want to go home? He replied: this is my home. I really hope there won’t be a plot twist involving him 🙁

The BIW isn’t the Hero… He’s the Referee (theory)

Most people see it as: Monsters = evil BIW = good

But what if the BIW is not the hero? What if he is the referee of this entire game?

The thing that stands out is that the BIW does not appear when people simply need saving. He appears when someone is about to discover something important.

He doesn’t stop every tragedy. He doesn’t prevent the Colony House massacre. He doesn’t save Victor’s town when everything falls apart. But he does make sure certain people survive.

Victor is the biggest example.

The BIW was there during Victor’s childhood. He knew something was wrong, and he knew Christopher was getting close to understanding the symbols.

But he didn’t stop the massacre.

Instead, Victor survived.

Why?

Because Victor became the person who remembered the previous cycle.

Maybe the BIW didn’t need everyone saved.

Maybe he needed a witness.

The BIW seems to choose “players,” not victims.

Look at who he interacts with:

  • Victor, the person who remembers the past.
  • Ethan, someone who is open to the rules of this place.
  • Tabitha, someone who uncovers the children and reaches the lighthouse.

He doesn’t appear randomly. He appears when someone can change the outcome. Almost like he is moving pieces on a board.

The biggest problem: why doesn’t he explain anything?

If the BIW truly wants everyone free, why not just tell them?

Why not explain:

  • what the monsters are?
  • why the town exists?
  • how to escape?

Instead, he gives small clues and lets people suffer through the process. Maybe because the discovery itself is part of the rules. Maybe he isn’t trying to save people. Maybe he is trying to create a specific outcome.

The lighthouse scene with Tabitha is especially interesting.

Why Tabitha?

Why not Boyd? Why not Jade? Why not Victor?

The BIW doesn’t simply “rescue” her. He sends her somewhere else.Maybe Tabitha escaping wasn’t the goal.Maybe she was moved to another part of the game because she had a role outside.

The BIW may use hope the same way the monsters use fear. The monsters keep people trapped through terror.

But what if the BIW keeps people moving through hope? The monsters say: “You are trapped.” The BIW says: “There might be a way out.” Both keep people engaged with the game.

The darkest possibility: The BIW is not good versus evil.

Maybe the BIW and the monsters are two sides of the same system.

The monsters are the obvious enemy. The BIW is the hidden player.

The monsters are pieces. The humans are pieces. The town is the board.

And the BIW is the referee who steps in only when the game needs to continue.

The biggest question:

If the BIW has the power to guide people, why has he allowed decades of suffering?
