The Bangalore Auto Driver
This happened few days back. I flagged down an auto from Trinity circle to MG road metro station entrance he said 50 I said fine and jumped in.
Close to the signal I asked for the scanner he said cash only I was like uohhoh I am not sure let me check my bag. Guess what he said ..no issues will figure out. Cut to my drop found a 100 in my wallet and paid him he gave back 50. I asked him what would have happened if I had no cash…guess what he said no issues that’s fine no problem people dont carry cash it’s fine!! Pleasantly surprised I gave him the change back he refused I asked him to keep it in case he came across any other passenger who had the same issue. If you come across this old person driving this auto please be kind to him and pay it forward. We need saints in our city in all forms.
His auto number is in the image. I think he mainly plies in the center of the city around MG road area so keep a watch.
