2 counts of 5 @ $250/each or 1 10 ct @ $500. UPS 1 day $55.

I cannot stress enough how small they are. So small that i recently broke my one welfare rule… 15 qt minimum. I had to go smaller for my own mental health to keep my spiky isopods.

They’re so small that I have an enemy that I promised to send some to for free once my second bin grows out. I will release mental destruction on that guy so that he may too know my pain. 😈 Anyways, other than misery loving company, care has been easy. They don’t like it as humid as Laureola.

  2. Ardentiella blister- $187.5/5 ct (message if you prefer a 10 ct. **warning: thus far, only one person I’ve sent blisters to has bred them. I am dramatic asf but i was not playing about the trauma. Do this at your own risk. You can follow my method, or maybe the person here who is seeing success, will tell you theirs.)**

  3. Porcellio werneri- $52.5/10 ct

  4. Ardentiella Phoenix- $187.5/5 ct (message if you prefer a 10 ct)

  5. Ardentiella scarlet- $300/5 ct (message if you prefer a 10 ct)

  6. Laureola durian- $150/10 ct

  7. Cubaris cherry blossom- $150/10 ct

Anadenobolus monilicornis- $2/each . Do note, these were bred by forest fauna & have been with me for a few months now. I had no idea they were invasive to Florida and it isn’t harmful to take those WC, so i prefer to move them on and use my space for a species that could use more captive breeding

I have something else to say because i have time let’s talk about it. Tea

That post is about me, yes me! If the mods let this stay up, it should be read by a lot of you. You see, let me tell you what happened. I made a comment and i said “hey, maybe cps doesn’t have the legal reasons the sub thinks to take him” meaning there’s no proof he has seizures, is blind or deaf. I didn’t speculate if he did have or didn’t have it. I said perhaps that is why. I said she’s a bad person for drinking and he’s delayed MEANING yes many health things are going on.

I then linked a post to the cps sub that also tried to reason with people about why cps maybe hasn’t taken him. The one person who admits English isn’t their first language kept responding showing they don’t understand what is being said to them.

Yall are so deep into an echo chamber that you don’t even know when someone like me who is on your side but doesn’t agree with your ONE part, is siding with you. So deep into misery and thinking you’re a superhero for posting on Reddit all day what Chrisean has done and SAVING JR FOR THREE YEARS, that you don’t recognize an ally.

And then when all else fails and you can’t handle people with educated logic, you turn into the same vile people you accuse Chrisean and her fans of being. You name call and say “must be a rocktard”. Guys that’s not an insult, you don’t even know how to comprehend what people say. The people who agreed with me were also trying to help you be better for your own movement . Because anyone who looks at what yall say from the outside can see that it’s not reasonable. It’s reasonable he needs help . But it’s unreasonable to think you save him on Reddit or by diagnosing him because of a TikTok doctor. Now wait, someone will comment here to prove my point again with no comprehension,

No shade but this is unhinged 😭like this all adds to the conversation from earlier of treating it like a pet project

Millipedes are my biggest OPPs and haters. Brachycybe producta and Gosodesmus claremontus

Disclaimer: I am deeply fascinated with the millipedes that we are lucky to have native to the USA. Though some, like these fungivores can be challenging to keep long term.

This is a current and ongoing project that i have been doing over the last few months. I am trying to more so create a sustainable environment that supports their needs vs continuing to source their needs in the wild. To date, none have died and while tempted to add more brachycybe species, I understand that it will take far longer to see if this project continues to work. They are flat enough that you have to be very careful about their enclosure build, because they will use leaves to climb vents to do felonious activities.

Just thought they were neat enough to share, but I am in no way promoting getting them without understanding their needs and how to try to provide it.

Cubaris Jupiter 10/$70

Pics of some of the baby stages of Rhopalomeris and hyleoglomeris

The oldest are about 4 months old and only now have they got to a place where you can really see the spotting they’d have as adults…. Compared to my slowest growing Ardentiella isopods, that would be fully colored up at 2.5 months . Millipedes are not for the weak 😂😩

Pill millipedes from the old world & the new world

Before anyone comments, when I say old and new world, I am referencing Winston Churchill’s fight on the beach speech, when he references his range of Europe and the new world is the US.

I will never miss a chance to insert history for no reason & it’s unfortunate that you had to read it.

u/SeaTax644 — 1 month ago

I am itching to get new isopods. What do you have that you think I may like? Will also get millipedes if you have any. Attached is current keep list

Will always add more Ardentiella and Werneri morphs.

Don’t want any laureola unless it’s dryad. Will buy emerald roaches.

[Selling] (Onomeris sinuata) ($50) - (GVL, SC, USA)

They are very small, but this is a true American patriot. A native of one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world, he is humble, in the world of flashy, large, Asian giants (i do love all pill millipedes, i am just tryna hype my boys up). He does his best!

I haven’t found them to be hard to get along with and I am happy to answer questions on care, but still a precaution that these are pill millipedes. Largely fossorial but always a few above ground.

I will be shipping them out on 6/8. 5 ct, plus shipping

Got both of these lads awhile ago and today I am a proud grandmother.

The only spiky isopod that has a size that speaks to me lol. Very weird guys

u/SeaTax644 — 2 months ago

I’m prepared to catch flack for this but I will say it

Since getting millipedes, I have recognized that millipedes face an issue much deeper than isopods. My statements are only relevant for the American hobby as I live here. I am not against taking wild caught species in any way, but I am against taking them without the knowledge, preparation and intent to breed them to begin a captive population. Taking too small of a number to have a decent chance, is not a small cost. It’s the cost of several more millipedes that will be taken from their home.

To buyers, it is unfortunate that you cannot trust sellers but you can’t. The obscene number of mislabeled millipedes at expos is nauseating. Texas golds being sold as narceus to sell them off as captive bred. Unlabeled wild caught on morphmarket. So YOU have to have the knowledge of what you are buying to determine if it is really captive bred. It is a slow race, but if you want a captive giga, Kevin Nasser is running that race for the American hobby.

Pill millipedes.. no matter what that website says, it isn’t Zephronia siamensis. In fact every pill millipede but the actual Zephronia siamensis is labeled as Zephronia siamensis. Let that sink in. So when the listing assures you that the pill millipede has been bred in captivity… the seller has no idea what they’re talking about because they don’t have the right ID. While pretty new, most labeled as Rhopalomeris carnifex are not carnifex.

This is long and arduous but the millipede hobby faces a far deeper issue than isopods. Not that other invert hobbies don’t have unscrupulous people, but the millipede issue is far worse. I imagine because millipedes are slower to grow so it’s easier to sell wild caught. We all have a responsibility to these animals, to enjoy them, but protect them in the wild. If you only want a pet, there are many captive bred millipedes available, but it isn’t 99% of pill millipedes, nor is it Texas gold, Balustreptus, or most gigas. My intent is not to call anyone out, but a call to the responsibility for all of us.

They’re close in size which shocked me for some reason. The cubaris seem far more fearless and did not ever conglobate, while the Hyleoglomeris did. Nice to finally see duckys and i get the hype now.
