**Need opinions because I feel like I’m losing my mind.**
I was with my boyfriend for almost 2 years. We recently got back together after about a month apart.
I went to his house and found a pair of women’s panties sitting **right on top of his dresser next to the TV**. Not inside a drawer. Not under the bed. Literally out in the open in a spot that’s hard to miss.
Here’s why I’m struggling with his explanation:
I’ve been in his house alone countless times over the last two years.
I’ve gone through pretty much every drawer and every room before (yes, I know that’s not healthy, but I’m being honest).
I’ve never seen those panties before.
They looked relatively new to me.
His response was first, “Those are yours.” They are **100% not mine**—wrong size and not my style.
After that, his story became: “I don’t know whose they are. I don’t know how they got there. I have no idea.”
He has completely stuck to that story and won’t budge.
My question isn’t whether I should stay with him. I’m asking:
**If you found another woman’s panties sitting on top of your partner’s dresser in plain sight, and they claimed they had no idea how they got there, would you believe them?**
I’m genuinely looking for outside perspectives because I feel like I’m driving myself crazy trying to make sense of it.
