Mom birthday recommendations?

My mom is visiting Seattle for the first time in late July and it happens to be on her 50th birthday weekend!

I just moved here a couple month ago so I haven’t had a chance to explore a ton. Any ideas of places to take her to spoil her?

It will be her first time traveling out of her home state in years, and she’s been busy raising two little ones and handling a farm, so I want to really treat her.

She doesn’t drink so no cocktail bars, wine tastings, etc.

I booked a dinner for the Pink Door since I saw dinner reservations are already being scooped up months out. Anywhere else I should plan on?

Spa days, fancy brunches, anything special 💝

Kind of a niche question but I’m curious of if there are any restaurants, stores, or meal prep companies that sell just prepped proteins like chicken, beef, etc.

Back home we had a gym-bro protein maxxxxxing cafe that sold grilled steak and chicken by the pound and it made meal prep sooo much easier. I don’t need a company that provides entire meals - just really need meat cooked for me since I just have a microwave and can’t use an air fryer.

Closest I’ve found is rotisserie chickens or sometimes shredded chicken breast at some grocery stores, but looking for something else to switch it up.

TIA

I’m having surgery next week and won’t be able to lift my arms to wash my hair for a while. I was recommended to do a deep wash on my hair before the procedure and put it into tight braids so I wouldn’t have to deal with it during recovery, then go to a salon to have it washed after a few days when I’m up for it

Is there a salon downtown/belltown/Capitol Hill that would be able to wash and put my hair into really tight braids before and after my surgery? I have pretty long hair and 0 coordination so I couldn’t braid my hair even with fully functioning arms lol.

Especially after a few days of recovery I’m worried about being self concious of going to a salon with grody, oily hair, so I’m looking for a spot with a kind understanding stylist :)

Thanks!
